I would definately contact your doctor. Sometimes it can take a few days to a week for your body to adjust to the medicine. At the same time your doctor may need to adjust your dosage - however, he/she is the only one that should determine that. I've gone through this before and my doctor has always made changes to my medications on Friday so that I would have the weekend to "feel things out"...it's just a suggestion in case your doctor decides to make changes down the road. However, anti-depressants are not something to play with as with any prescription. Although it's Friday night, I would definately put a call into his service and request that he call you this evening -- be honest with him about how the medicine is making you feel.

sounds like the drug is working for you but that either the dose is not correct or that it is not compatible with some other medications that you take . i would say you are having medication induced manic episodes this is not that rare it is however very important that you make you doctor aware of this and make an appointment to see him oh say tomorrow explain to the secretary that this is urgent you may need to explain what is happening to you now to her but don't accept no for an answer you need to see the doctor with in one or two days at most . if not then see a different one even at a hospital . take all your meds with you so they can work this out .
i hope the depression continues to back off and that you remain well on your course to recovery this is just a bump in the road .

You should not stop taking any medication without first talking to your doctor. I also found that going to talk to a psychiatrist helped me more than medication alone.
It takes a stong person to ask for help and a weak person to sit back and do nothing. You would be surprised how good it feels to ask for help.

be comfortable with yourself honey, to heck with what other people think. there is a difference of acting silly and making people laugh and making a person look at you as though you have two heads. Keep smiling darlin, you have the power to heal yourself!

Isn't it much better to be laughing ;-) it shouldn't matter what others say if you feel good about yourself ;-)
however if you feel the pills are making you behave oddly then you could have another chat with your GP

Talk to your doctor. A dose adjustment may help.

If we knew what you'd been prescribed it would help us answer your question fully.
Maybe you need to go back to your GP and update them to your current predicament.
