Obsessive-Compulsive disorder is a way of thinking a process that can be driven by uncertainty, emotional resolution, mental strategy, associative meaning and stress. And if you have that disorder you would know the symptoms because your doctor would have told you them and if any meds was need you would be on them.

OCD has nothing to do with Star Wars. OCD is when you are compelled to do things out of habit, like, putting things in order by color, size, shape, etc. Or performing an act before you do something like turn around five times when you hear a bell ring. It's something that a normal person (without OCD) would not do as part of their daily routine. Also Anakin didn't die, hey got messed up by Obi Won and became Darth Vader. If that causes panic attacks then you have far worse problems then OCD. Get some help. FAST!!

I see you are back trolling for more answers, in fact I recall you when you were under the guise of Jedisara29 http://answers.yahoo.com/search/search_result;_ylt=AjmWa0vy.dGH9Ej2s3JQWZjpy6IX?p=Jedisara
Anyhow if this is you, which I am assuming it is you forgot to mention one critical aspect. As I recall you have Aspergers Syndrome http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspergers, basically you are a highly functional autistic. One of the key elements of AS is OCD behaviours. What is an OCD behaviour? Well asking the same question over and over and over again on yahoo answers for 8 months straight could be considered an OCD, as well as watching Star Wars to the point of getting anxiety disorders and wanting to kill yourself. Lets get is straight, your problem is not just the OCD, it is the Aspergers Syndrome and you really need to see a psychiatrist who specializes in cognitive behavioural therapy. Medication alone is not going to resolve your problem, but a combination of meds and therapy can help to subside these behaviours and feelings of anxiety.
Look, Yahoo answers is great if you are looking for a good method to get gum out of your hair, but not so good at resolving serious things like Aspergers Syndrome and OCD's.

OCD means you have obsessive thoughts about one thing in particular and you may have certain rituals to sooth the thoughts or pain. By the way why does the death of the Jedi give you panic attacks?

It means you are obsessive and/or compulsive about some thing or things.

Are you sure you have the disorder? Psychological disorders are way over diagnosed. If it's not seriously affecting your relationships with others or your ability to run you life, then don't worry about it. Medications all have side effects, so use them only when the benefit outweighs the negative effects. I don't think being able to watch Star Wars comfortably qualifies.

there are varying degrees of OCD..... some examples of OCD behaviours: HAVING to have EVERYthing on your desk, in your closet, in your cabinet, on your bed, etc, all JUST SO. over-repeated cleaning, handwashing, floorscrubbing, going over something, beyond what it rationally needs to be. repeated checking of locks, burners on stove, faucets, your car, beyond what it rationally needs to be. repeated counting of the tiles/boards/cracks in the floor, wires in a screen; repeated dressing and undressinng and redressing, before it is "okay" to leave it that way. picky and repetitive behaviours. HAVING TO pick off all the imperfections on your face, even if no one else can see them but you. Irrational degree of perfectionism...
far as I know, the panic attacks are a part of anxiety disorder.
