Bipolar disorder in children and adolesence is a hard disorder to get under control they tend to harbor alot of anger and aggression and tend to have more hospitalizations than older adults with this disorder unless he suffered severe abuse in early childhood MPD can be ruled out the best answer would be to take him to a PHD and get a thorough mental health evaluation for the proper diagnosis these usually take several hours to be done properly

Well it sounds like he is just bi polar, and is not taking him mediation as he is suppose to be taking it. Cause someone with bi polar has really High highs, and low lows, and that could be why he is being so mean and getting himself kicked ou t of school. If you think he may have MPD which by the way is now Called DID, then take him to a professional that works with DID, one that don't will not be able to tell,, but one that does knows, and will give you a straight answer, by the way there is no medications to control DID, just therapy. So if they don't know what to do with him well that is what i would say to do with him, and they also need to have the level of the medication he is taking to keep is bi polar under control. And your parents need to be making sure that he is taking that medication all the time, cause that is the only why you can keep him stable, and not have the problems that you are having.

You sound like a very caring sister that's good! :) It actually sounds like your brother has Bipolar all the way through or it could be ADHD instead of his ADD. In mental health one disorder leading to another is very common. But as i said I think it is Bipolar all the way through. There are many medications that could help your brother as well as therapies. Good luck!

unless he was SEVERELY abused, no. Multiple personalities have little to do with the other issues.
