I have a freind that has ADHA (and has told me so), 36yo male by the way.
He's had numerous (ALL of his girlfreinds left him) relationship problems.

Even as far as our freindship goes, I'm ready to give up and leave myself. He DOES NOT take medication and dosen't think he should. He's also extremly forgetful about important things and then when I bring it to his attention, he'll turn it around and make it like it was MY fault he forgot and pretends he's innocent.

*sigh*

He really needs help and I'm trying to be patient, but it's hard.

So anyone know what the long term affects of not taking meds will do to someone with his condition?

When he is watch ing t.v or playing and you try to talk to him, it islike you are talking to a brick wall. You can tell him no about the same thing every 10 minutes and he still repeats it. Then there is the hyperness that never ends untill he finally falls asleep for the night.

When I board a train, I feel that it will derail or there will be a blast. When climb steps, I feel like I'm going to fall. When I'm at home I am scared that there'll be an earthquake. When I'm cooking I feel scared that the place will catch fire. I hope you understand what I'm saying. What's happening? Don't tell me to go to a doctor, is there something else you can suggest?

I am bipolar (or so they tell me) andy way I just lost my medicaid and was forced to take insurance at work. Even with my insurance my medications will cost in excess of $100.00 per month. Not feasable on my budget at all. Anyone know of any help for those that cannot afford medications? I can already start to feel my mood become unstable and it is taking everything in me to control my anger.

...when you haven't been disciplined at all, haven't done anything wrong, are one of the most hard working people in your division (although your loathe to admit it, since your self esteem is zero - 1) and all of your trusted friends and loved ones tell you, that theres nothing to worry about but just the slightest frown or grumble from your boss and peers at work sends you into a downward spiral?

extra difficulty, your taking your medications regularily and your doctor feels there's no need to change prescriptions

I am 30 years old. Frequently I think about my college and childhood days that we enjoyed our life completely in and out of the home, I get a strange feeling by thinking about the impossibility or rewinding the 'life, place and all the people' to 15 years back. At such times, I get headache, feeling difficult to breath, pain in abdomen etc. How can I get rid of this problem?

Okay, here's the deal. I think I'm seeing people from TV shows, and I think they're in the room with me, but when I look, there's no one there. I think there's something wrong with me. I don't want to tell anyone about it 'cause all my friends and family already think I'm crazy

what's it mean when i sometimes have a thought in my mind that an earthquake is going to strike at anytime? Is it just a phobia i have? Sometimes the thought will pop into my head, for no reason. It doesn't have any trigger. It just happens.

People luv to take advantage of those who have good hearts. When you are friendly, people think you like them. When you borrow them money or something they think they can do it all the time without giving u back. When u invite them out they think they can always have you.Generally they take advantage of our good nature.Does anybody agree with me?Does it mean I must change my ways just to get somewhere in life.Maybe i should start tramping their toes.
