well with schizophrenia you can see weird things and have amazing thoughts n feelings, but they aren't very real. See the film donnie darko he is schizophrenic. Oh by the way schizophrenics DO nOT have two personalities like some people with dumbness mental illnesses think. Dual personalities is usually refered to as multiple personality disorder.
Being bi-polar can be quite frightening but is easier to control than schizophrenia.
So neither is particulary 'cool'.

the only genuine experience I even have with a BiPolar individual, or for this reason a self-proclaimed bi-polar individual became into as quickly as I extra or much less, nevertheless no longer on objective, brought about her to have a meltdown on the front table on the shop the place i became into working. It became into rather uncomfortable to hearken to her sobbing away approximately how her kin moved to England (probably to stay away from her), and that how her cat hates her, and approximately she became into allegedly "The Rock" between her friends in her online help team. it relatively is kinda frightening to think of that there have been human beings much extra emotionally fragile that her. besides, ethical of the story, in case you artwork tech help for a brilliant container electronics save, and a shopper comes as much as you, and the 1st words out their mouth are " hi, i'm bipolar." you're in for long shift, additionally verify you suited diagnose that individual's computer subject, a mistake on your area would have extensive ramifications on the psychological properly-being of specific purchasers.

There is nothing "cool" about a mental disorder, whatever it may be. You obviously have had a happy, secure life, if you're morbid enough to think that being mentally ill is even minimally attractive. Get a life. Better yet, go volunteer at a mental care facility and you can see for yourself just how "cool" it is.

Many people who suffer from mental illness, and as a result of having that mental illness, have exceptional skills and talents - take Stephen Fry for example, who is bi-polar. So in answer to everyone who has so far said it is a sick question, it actually is not.

Maybe when society isn't so apt to think of mental illness as something a person can control, we'll find better ways to treat them. Until then, get a better past time and maybe some counseling on how you feel about mental illness.

Neither because it effects chemicals in your brain and you are constantly taking medication to controll it. Out of the two I believe Schizophrenia is harder to controll.

What is cool about having a mental illness. That shows sickness in itself to pretend to have one of those.

I enjoy Being Bi-Polar. The mood swings are more manageable.
I would think being schizophrenic is a full-time state, therefore
less controlable.
