Not as far as I know. But if we think about the breath volume of the average human (approx 120 cm3) and the fact that you breathe about once every 4 seconds we can work out that you breathe about 7884000 times a year, which equates to 946m3 of air a year. That's a lot of second hand breath. If the surface area of the UK is 130,395 km² and breathable air extends to a height of 5km the the volume of air over the UK is 651975km3. The proportion of the air you breathe is less than 1millionth of a percent of the air in the UK. So to answer your question, due to turbulance, the chaotic nature of the weather, your age and many other factors, then the chances of me reusing your old breath are higher than you think. Sorry. P.S. Breathing down the 'phone doesn't count.

Possibly - and none. Could you prove that it was your air? If so, I would have to consider it an unsolicited gift, therefore I have no obligation to return it. I might however sue you for harassment or grievous bodily harm if your breath is stinky...

Not lately but I did in July 2002. I did not keep it and it is now in the public domain. I don't see how I can be deemed culpable - so you have no rights. It's out there, feel free to reclaim it at your convenience.
