Okay, here's the deal. I think I'm seeing people from TV shows, and I think they're in the room with me, but when I look, there's no one there. I think there's something wrong with me. I don't want to tell anyone about it 'cause all my friends and family already think I'm crazy

look here... half the battle is asking for help and/or admitting/acknowledging that there's something wrong.

if you were really "insane", there is no way you would say what you said, so don't worry for now.

it is probably not a bad idea to see someone; a professional. maybe you need some medication~or maybe you just need someone to talk to.

i also like the answer (above) about the shower...they're right, it does work.

i know that in my old house i used to see people out of the corner of my eye (my peripheral vision), but when i turned to look at them straight on, they were gone... it turns out they were spirits.

now i live somewhere else and there are no more spirits here. (there was one when i moved in, but we told him/her to go to the light and he/she did).

you will be o.k. don't worry, but do remember to see someone!!

There could be A LOT of reasons why you might be seeing things. Just remember, that there could be something wrong with your brain without you being crazy. Talk to your family, and try to schedule an appointment with a psychiatrist. It's not about 'being crazy'. A lot these things are caused by the way the brain processes visual input and it can be easily corrected. In a case like this, I recommend a psychiatrist over a psychologist, because a psychologist is a mental and emotional therapist, while a psychiatrist is a medical doctor who specializes in the study physical brain functions and chemistry.

Just remember seeing things that aren't really there is just a manifestation of the mind. Your mind and your perceptions are playing tricks on you. You are not crazy. But definitely go to a doctor(psychiatrist) and see what he/she has to say. No one truly understands unless they've been through it themselves, so do your best to ignore the people who you say think you are crazy. By asking this question proves that you are a rational person.

Whenever you THINK you see things, keep in mind it's nonsense, like the other DEJA VU nonsense.

Then strip and get in the shower.

Turn on lukewarm, at any rate LOWER than body temp- and stay in gradually tapping down to COLD.

Don't worry the gradual thing will soften the discomfort.

Stay in it until the malfunction settles down.

It works.

It works, that is, by lowering your "not-in-my-body-all-inside-my-mind" abstraction stage. IOW u get back into body and PHYSICAL INPUT.

Trust me on this one.

Insane , no. schizophrenia, yes . My bi-polar daughter went through this same phase and that was her diagnosis, along with eating, and sleep disorders. Regular visits to the shrink and medication, helped control the problem. So, go help yourself it won't clear up without help.
