Globophobia or balloon phobia is one of the most common fears. It can be treated though but usually takes a few years.
I don't have weird phobias, mine are of course all quite normal lol!

I have a fear of anything that might in bed itself under my skin and then crawl out later. Here is what your fear is called. Known by a number of names - Globophobia, Fear of Balloons being the most common - the problem often significantly impacts the quality of life. It can cause panic attacks and keep people apart from loved ones and business associates. Symptoms typically include shortness of breath, rapid breathing, irregular heartbeat, sweating, nausea, and overall feelings of dread, although everyone experiences balloon fear in their own way and may have different symptoms. .come out later.

I'm scared of using a microwave. It could be leaking radiation. How would i know it? They do have those little credit card sized testers that you can buy, that will measure any radiation leaking out of the door. I don't know where to buy one, or i would. That would make me feel safer to know that the microwave is not leaking.

Weird phobia? When I was a kid, it was headless dolls or if you took off the top of the toilet tank I would be terrified of it. How weird is that?! I'm over it now. Now it's spiders.

Also whilst at school my art teacher was scared of buttons, so to get back at her for being so mean we glued loads of buttons to the classroom door and she refused to enter until we apologised and removed them, we never did! lol=]
