Sometimes it's minor things, sometimes a bit more important. Sometimes it lasts only a couple days, other times up to about two weeks. Doesn't matter who caused the rage...friends, family, etc. Regardless, it's certainly irrational.

what do you call a person who's scared of the dark, deep water, tight places, hights, and something bad is going to happen. paranoid about dust mites, really scared of caterpillar, worms, bugs and snakes. i used to play with worms and frogs and spiders when i was little, but now i'm scared of them-maybe they cursed me so i won't torture them anymore-jokingly thinking.i'm even paranoid about germs, bacteria and all that bad stuffs.
don't say i'm a freak or neat freak, that doesn't explain why i'm like this or doesn't narrow it down to what you really call a person like me besides a freak.
unsurcastic answer will be appreciated.

I started a prescription for Wellbutrin (generic name: bupropion) today. I have ADHD, but my psychiatrist feels there's a good chance I have an underlying disorder along with it, which might explain why my ADHD has been getting slightly worse the past few years, not better. My psych suspects a mild anxiety disorder, mild depression, or maybe both. I think I can see where he's coming from, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, as some of you know, Wellbutrin/bupropion is one of the few drugs that's indicated for all THREE of these disorders! :) Not that it helps everyone, and it doesn't always help ADHD as much as it helps anxiety/depression. But it sure sounds promising to me, and I also like that it has significantly LESS likelihood of bad side effects, compared to anti-depressant/anti-anxiety drugs in other families, like the SSRI family.

If you're taking or have taken this, please share your experiences. Hopefully there will be more "success stories" than "horror stories"!!

It seems when something goes wrong with my life or with whatever, everything starts going wrong.... like my husband and I have been having issues, my washer broke today the water pipe busted today, and last night our battery in our car went completely dead and we had to get another battery today.. why is it when something bad happens everything starts going badly and when there are good things happening, everything starts going good... why does it happen like that lol... its like someone has it out for me or something lol...life just seems full of cruel irony... does this happen to anyone else or is it just me?

Every year I get the same terrible spell of depression I cant get away from it. Ive had a hard life but I seem to focus on it at certain times of the year, every year.I worry, stress and loose sleep a lot. Ive had peptic ulcers and the docs believe strees is making them reoccour. Why does this always happen to me? I cant stop feeling rejected alone and fearful but its not like I dont have friends, the few I do are great but I couldnt even try to explain what Im going through year in year out because I hardly understand myself whats wrong with me?

And I'm usually a very gentle person. Well, to tell the truth, constant exposure to right-winged comments would probably do the same to me, but I haven't come across them very often.

my doctor is doing liver function studies now. In one week I will be taking Depakote. I've heard some pretty nasty stuff about it, but I am open minded to any opinions.

I'm just so depressed. I don't know what to do but I need cheering up. I'm not even sure why I'm depressed but I know it has something to do with never being happy and just living for complete misery and not really having anything or doing anything fun. I'm an 18 yo guy if it helps...
What should I do? I don't want counselling and my mum knows about me being really depressed and she just makes me worse whenever she talks. Argh!

Whenever I am feeling sensitive and being hard on myself, I find that if I think of myself in the right way my mind just explodes with excitement. You ever feel that way?

I think alot about living and dying and my life but sometimes I can't stop thinking about it, like on t.v. no matter what channel I watch, or movie something always makes me think of it, or listening to music, the same thing, and I don't remember being like this ever, before, but now I just can't help it, Is there something wrong with me? How can I get my mind off of the subject?

I've been on Zoloft for a little over 2 years now and I know that I have to slowly get off the meds- but I'm unsure of how long this should take. I am on 200mg a day and don't know if I go down by 50mg a week or how I do it. Anyone who has experienced this please let me know what you did. Thanks so much!
