Every year I get the same terrible spell of depression I cant get away from it. Ive had a hard life but I seem to focus on it at certain times of the year, every year.I worry, stress and loose sleep a lot. Ive had peptic ulcers and the docs believe strees is making them reoccour. Why does this always happen to me? I cant stop feeling rejected alone and fearful but its not like I dont have friends, the few I do are great but I couldnt even try to explain what Im going through year in year out because I hardly understand myself whats wrong with me?

Blackjadedrose has the best answer I've seen, and I have 20+ years as a mental health practitioner, now retired. Whether e-mailing her will help or not, that's for the two of you to discover, but she's got the right diagnosis. Maybe you also want to go get some counseling. It won't be hard to deal with, and maybe you can get the counseling on a sliding scale fee. God Bless you.

through fact the grass is often greener on the different ingredient. you're in college and you will't wait to get out, thinking you're gonna have a blast. easily nevertheless, you do no longer. yet you fantasize approximately summer season through fact that is distinctive, it in basic terms comes as quickly as a 300 and sixty 5 days. You spend 10 months in college, working so annoying, the seen a destroy looks SO alluring. for this reason because you're looking forward to it lots you hype it up and make it seem "so completely mind-blowing". while that is somewhat no longer. inspite of the certainty that, come to think of of it, summer season is rather good. that is sunny, you flow away, you spot buddies extra and maximum severely you have freedom. once you're lower back in college, you will need it to be summer season lower back! i understand I continuously do...nevertheless, I by no ability lose interest during summer season. :)

1/ councelling - not just pros, all you need is someone reliable to listen and maybe give you some props and some good advice
2/ exercise - anything... just anything that will get your heart and adrenaline going and kick your body out of the physically depressed state (low heart rate and blood pressure, particular chemical balance) that helps to lock your brain in this unhappy sideline feedback loop. the stress is a pointer - too much cortisone, which the adrenaline will chase away.

good luck, i hate S.A.D, it's such a kick in the vitals.
