I think everyone have something they are afraid of sometime in their lives. I really don't like big crowds of people. Or talking on stage.I'm not fond of spiders either . I just try to work on my phobias so I can enjoy life to the fullest. Have a good day..

I fear: spiders (not too original, I know), craneflies (weird, I know), never getting married and having to grow old alone (rather melodramatic, I know), and space aliens (the skinny ones with the huge eyes). The aliens are my worst fear, I think. They just freak me out so badly I can barely put it into words!! :(
Here's an interesting phobia: my dad is freaked out by having anything over his head that's a soft material. It could be anything from an umbrella to a canvas circus tent. (I wonder if he had a near-smothering incident as a baby or toddler, where something made of material fell on his head? He doesn't recall anything like that, but I wonder!)
P.S. It's been 6 hours since I wrote the above reply, and I just thought of 2 more big fears of mine: tornadoes (even though I've never experienced one) and being put on a speakerphone (I get so anxious when I'm on a speakerphone that my brain totally freezes up! That's pretty silly, since I love talking to people and I even enjoy something most folks are terrified of -- public speaking!)

I detest liquid materials which dry around the bottle top. Ketchup scum has to be the worst. This happens with lots of foods as well as shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc. I always put my palm over the bottle top and rinse it off before I put the cap back on. Rinse out the cap if necessary. But those little slivers of Ketchup Scum are the worst.

People and spiders, in that order.
How do you survive being afraid of pigeons? That is like having to get through life without using the word 'it'. In London at any rate, just as well I love pigeons.

Down escalators - seriously. I will find stairs before I have to go down an escalator.
