My Grandma-in-law is very old and her hands hurt a lot. She lives overseas (she is from Egypt) and it's not easy to buy good medicine for painful hands (and I'm guessing they are arthritic.) I'm currently in the States and I went to Walgreens the other day and was overwhelmed by the choices! What's the best ointment out there for this as I want to get her the best.

Just a couple of months ago I took him to the doc. for a wing worm. It was treated. I don't know if it fully went away but I do know, when he went to get his hair cut he got another one. Something telling me that he's getting it from the barber he goes to. I really don't know where it is coming from. He don't play with any other kids but his baby brother and he's 1. He doesn't have it. They go the same places to get their hair cut from. Could it just be something in the air? My thing is,what can I get to put in his hair to treat it,besides going back to the doc.

I've seen 3 different GP's that tells me that it's impossible for the painkillers to cause itching, the last one agreed to prescribe another kind of painkiller, but it doesn't kill the pain.

I've been taking painkillers for over 15 years now and I have never had a problem like this before. It all started when I had surgery about 18 months ago. The itching drives me crazy and I've been to the ER a couple of times because of it. They said that it is some sort of allergy, but couldn't say against what.

I know it's the painkillers since it only itches when I take them.

My problem is that the other kind of painkillers that the GP gave me isn't doing anything for the pain. I need to stop the pain and I take the painkillers that itch.

Has anyone heard of anything like this?
Do you know what causes the itching?
Is it dangerous for me to take the painkillers that makes me itch?
Any suggestions about how to stop the itching?

I'm 16 and for the past year or so I've had off and on pains in my lower back and upper butt area. I did cheerleading and it might be due to that. But either way the pains will not go away now, they are pretty permanent for the time being. I can't sit down long enough to drive for a half hour or even watch a movie. Laying in bed is painful if i have to sit up. I'm only comfortable walking and sleeping. When I stand up from sitting down I have to hold my back and walk slowly crouched over until my back feels alright to stand upright again. I also can't sit still for more then 15 minutes. I know I need to see a doctor or whatever. Still, I need advice.

For the past two days I have been playing video games way more than normal. I plan to go back to a healthy amount after I accomplish a personal goal (I estimate it will take another 2 days of trying), my gameplay isn't optimum when I have hand ache, but if I take a short break I a long acquired sence of relaxation that also makes me suffer.

(If you want to know I'm trying to beat Chapter 1 in F-zero on very hard)

Its in my thighs, knees, and ankles. It only happens a few times a month, but its horrible. It feels like a pulled muscle, but in the joints. And it only happens in the middle of the night.

For about the past week or so, I've had these strange pains in my back and stomach. In my back, its in the lower right part of my back, and in my stomach its also on the right, but it hurts almost all the way across my lower stomach. Its not a normal feeling of just a back ache, or stomach ache, but it almost feels like its a muscular issue. Its off and on, but when I do feel it, I have to sit or lay down until it goes away because it hurts so terribly.

Also, when I breathe in, a spot under my shoulder hurts very bad. This is also off and on. I'm also very short of breath, just walking up and down my stairs can make me very tired.

I'm not quite sure if I should head in to the doctor for this, or if it will pass soon. Does anybody know what this may sound like, or if I should head into he doctor or not? I'm pretty young for kidney stones, so I'm pretty sure that that isn't what it is...

Thanks
