I woke up other night with charley horse and for past two days I have noticed swelling in my foot and little up in my leg up to my knee. Feels little stiff. Can anyone help me know anything about \this?

a blood clot in an intact blood vessel. A thrombus in a large blood vessel will decrease blood flow through that vessel. In a small blood vessel, blood flow may be completely cut-off resulting in death of tissue supplied by that vessel. If a thrombus dislodges and becomes free-floating, it is an embolus.
Emboli often have more serious consequences when they occur in the so-called "end-circulation": areas of the body that have no redundant blood supply, such as the brain, heart, and lungs.

You definitely can get blood clots from a Charley horse. If it breaks it can cause you to have A heart attack. You need to see your medical doctor immediately.

Now--you have a life and death medical problem. Get to a doctor. If the clot beaks up and goes thru your to your brain --- severe brain damage or death
