I had a cycling accident yesterday and busted my hip and leg up pretty nicely. I had no fractures and didn't want to waste 6 hours waiting in E/R. A friend gave me a couple of hydrocodones for the pain. I may have to submit to drug test on Thursday or Friday. I just didn't think about the fact that these pills might show up! I have never taken these at any other time except once years ago for oral surgery. Any ideas to ensure that I didn't screw myself by not thinking!!?

My boyfriend just moved into a new apartment. He has never had any heartburn problems but recently when he drinks something late at night, he gets a weird feeling like heartburn. All of his drinks contain ice. Any ideas what could be causing this weird feeling? Thanks

I have trouble raising my arms and extending them too. Is CMP why I have such problems or is it my Fibromyalgia? I thought it was moving my muscles was causing the pain. So it would be the CMP, right? My boss told me to get the windex out and clean the glass cabinets. I went into full torso muscle constriction. I told my boss I couldn't do that ever again. She said yes you will or you will be going back to the doctor for a new note!
So --- do you think it's the CMP or the FM?
Anyone else have such problems...?

Ok, well almost everybody has gotten hit in the face right? Right. So, today I had a soccer game and I got hit in the face with the ball. My lip (upper), hurts REALLY bad. So do you have any tips? P.S. no medicines please. By the way, my team won by 8 points 13 (us)-5 points (other team).

I remember walking in the kitchen and drinking a cup. The next thing I know, I'm on the floor and I'm surrounded by glass and my mother is freaking out. I feel fine now and I'm EXTREMELY confused. I still feel kind of weird and my left hand feels like It's not a part of me. I think I hit my elbow because it hurts and my head still feels weird. What am I supposed to do?

I suffer from GERD. I am on Prilosec OTC (twice a day) which my doctor prescribed and 400mg of Cimitedine (twice a day) which was also prescribed by my doctor. I have stayed away from EVERYTHING that the doctor's have recommended for months: caffeine, chocolate, high fat foods, dairy, high salt foods, spicy foods, the list goes on and on. I do not smoke or drink alcohol. I still get constant pain all the time. The problem is with my gallbladder and it over produces acid and that combined with the esophagus valve not functioning properly is causing my problem.

I can't have my gallbladder out right now. This same problem runs in our family, and everyone has had their gallbladder out and the problem has been resolved. Dr has already confirmed this is the problem, but it can't be done with the insurance I currently have.

I've tried: Maalox+Lidocaine cocktails, rice vinegar, apple cider vinegar, Vicodin, Tylenol, Benadryl.

Anyone have any ideas for stopping pain, so I can sleep?

I am a 47 year old man. I've become unable to work or function on a daily basis since June 7th 2007. My body from my neck to my toes have become numb. My fingers and toes are often swollen and purple with a scar like appearance between my fingers and toes that is very painful. I can walk very slowly with a cane but I lose my balance frequently & suffer from frequent muscular spasms. My shoulder, elbow and wrist joints ache constantly. I have had Brain MRI, Back MRI including Lumbar and cerv. All come back negative except with my neck has a vertibrae rubbing on my spinal. I have a buldging disk. I am being treated with Neurotin, Vicotin, Skelaxin and Naproxen. I have been to a Rheumatologist, and no forms of Arthritis have been found. I went to a Lousy Neurologist and she picked me with straight pin and said this is not Neurology. I'm now getting ready to see a new Neurologist. I am so need to get back to work, this condition is costing so much money. Any suggestions?

I've been quite idle for a couple of months now, and a while ago, I played basketball for a few minutes. I wasn't able to stretch my neck - so when I played, although, there were no big hits to my body, the left side of my neck became painful.

When i'm not moving it, there's no pain, but as I twist it, there's a stinging pain on the left side. It's very painful when I twist my neck; and the pain remains only on the left side. The right side is completely normal.
