I used to have a desk job and recently started a job that I am on the go, on my feet all day. I am so tired and sore physicaly that I feel embarassed by the end of the day, and I know it shows on my face. My feet feel like the pads are worn off "I'm in good shoes" my back aches and I can barely stand so I push myself but I am in horrible pain. I dont think I am obese but could lose a few. I have hypothyroidism but that is my only medical issue.so what could this be? I feel like im the only one so tired and in pain!

Find out if you have Fibromyalgia. There is no test to diagnose it only certain symptoms. My sister has it and it can be triggered by stress. You might want to have your thyroid checked again. Your meds might need to be changed. If nothing else, go for a physical and let a doctor tell you what he finds. Sure hope you feel better soon. Hang in.

There may be a few things involved. You may be in the peri-menopause stage which may account for tiredness. This happens to many women around this age. You need to pay attention to health, don't push yourself too much, pull back & relax, don't take on too much. If you have a more physically demanding job than before, you need more "down" time after work. Make sure you get enough sleep. Talk to a nutritionist about your diet, get expert advice, a changed diet may help. As for feet, see a podiatrist (foot doctor), you may need orthotics. My friend developed tired feet, when she finally went to the podiatrist. & had xrays she found out she had the beginnings of arthritis, now wears orthotics & her feet feel better, so hopefully her arthritis won't get worse. I assure you that you are not the only one exhausted & in pain. Good luck.

I could have written your message, but I am 66 and mine just started 3 years ago. And I am actually much better when I am up and moving.

I also have Hypothyroidism and take 100 Mg's(I think) of Synthroid daily. That solved my throat constriction and vomiting problems. But I had never considered that my exhaustion problems might be from the Hypothyroidism.??\
That gives me something to think about.

For your feet, back and legs, I would strongly consider going to a Happy feet store and get serious molded arches for your shoes.

I did this 10 years and solved all of my feet and leg and low back pains. They (at that time were $47.00, but are machine washable and I still wear the exact same pair. They are amazing. Pain from your fee and arches radiate up your back.

Research Hypothyroidism for the symptoms and see if the tiredness is part of that. Good Luck.

You recently started the job, so you are using muscles you haven't had to use in a while, or maybe never.

Give it some time, and do some stretching before, and after work.

You can also get yourself checked out to be sure.
