I am sixteen and have Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, I've had it since I was nine. Right now I'm in the middle of a really bad flare up, especially since my fall a month ago. The pain is really bad, I'm going crazy. I dont know what to do, I'm seriously considering taking some of my leftover vicodin from having surgery. The pain is getting unbearable. I can barely walk, I cant take it anymore. I refuse to be confined to my wheelchair, and it's bad for my rsd anyways not to move. We just moved recently, and I dont have insurance, hence no medical coverage, no pain management clinic, no outside help. Advil, Ibprofen, Naproxen aren't cutting it. I need help, I need to sleep, and escape the pain for awhile. I dont know what to do. Any help will be appreciated.

I was getting injections for a couple years because of unbearable pain from fibromyalgia and other chronic pain problems. The doctor gave me a script for "Norco". It is so fantastic. I can sit up and do so much more than before and no more injections. The pills must be taken regularily because the pain appears when the meds start to wear off. You and your loved ones need to try "Norco" if you have fms/cfs or chronic pain. So have you tried this med yet?

Right, I have a diformed right ear. I was picking the wax over the membrain covering the hole. Days later ive got a bad pain down my cheek and its swollen up. So i went to the Doctors and he put me on FLUCLOXACILLIN 250mg. I have been on these since yesterday afternoon and have took 5 so far. going to take another one at 10pm

That side of my face is stinging like hell , Doc thinks its infected. Im finding it harder to open my mouth without the pain and stinging. Its getting worse. It came over in a really bad pain earlier and i got worried. This is the ear they operated on when i was a kid. It was 12 years ago.

I cant stand this pain for much longer. + The brain is to the right side of your head and i also had that operated on 7 years ago to remove a clot that was pressed to the brain.

My husband has had migraines since childhood. He takes lots of OTC meds as well as Imitrex. I am sure his body has gotten used to the OTC meds. He has been checked by MD for other conditions. He uses ibuprofen, imitrex and excedrin mostly. But none of those really work too well.

I have been pretty constipated and I have this sensation when I bend over or push on my belly behind my sternum, is that normal? Its not major pain, just enough to feel it, more like a discomfort. I was taking Clindamycin for a tooth abscess about a week ago. But yesterday and the day before I felt horrible, last night and today I am feeling a little better. I'm just curious if thats the case or any input. Thanks!

For the past month, my right buttocks cheek has been sore (it feels like a pulled muscle). But lately, in addition to the right butt cheeck pain, my spine/back on the lower right side hurts a lot as well. A friend of mine says it could be a tight hamstring, but others have said it could be some serious back deterioration. Anyone experience this?

Why has this quite affective pain killer been taken off the
prescription list? Is it purely political to save money and
further reduce our medication to second best?
paracetamol alone is o.k for headaches, but little else!

I received my 3rd cortisone injection on Thursday done with fluoroscopy. It is to treat my L5/S1 disk which is in bad shape and is causing sciatica pain.

The 1st two never did anything but this one has increased my pain a lot. I am wondering if anyone has experienced this.

My thoughts are that:

1. he did it wrong. can these be administered incorrectly and cause more problems?

2. the area was much more inflamed than the 1st two times and the injection agrivated it.

3. he actually got in the right spot and this is a good sign that in a couple more days i may actually have some relief.

Last week I had a lot of pain but could function enough to drive to the store, go to work and take it easy. I am now bed ridden. I suffer to just go to the bathroom, go to the kitchen to grab a quick bite to eat. The pain has increased A LOT!!

When I called my doctor about this he showed some concern and told me to take more pain medicine (12 norcos 5/325 a day).

The left side of my neck has started being really sore. My back is also sore. There is a strange popping/clicking noise right at the place where my neck meets my head in the back if that makes sense. I hear this noise every time I walk. I am 16 years old and relativley healthy, with hashimoto's syndrome. If anyone know what this noise could be I would really appreciate some advice! Thank you.

Okay I heard about this and I thought it was crazy. I thought that I would just get juice in my eyes and burn them. I get migranes and sinus headaches often. One day I was in so much pain I was desperate and I happened to have a lime in the fridge. So I tried it and to my shock it worked. Nearly instantaneously the throbbing in my head went away. My husband has tried it too - after laughing at me of course. It worked for him too. We are trying to figure out if it is the cold or if there is something in the lime juice that is actually doing something. I have put ice and cold things on my head for headaches in the past and it has done nothing for the pain. Does anyone know what property/chemical composition in the limes is taking away the pain? We have been joking that it is the "magic" in the limes but I would really like to know.

I have a pain that starts in my lower back and shoots into my knee like every five minutes. It is not sciatica...I have sciatic pain all the time...this is different. There is no pain between the back and the knee, just the back, then the knee. From t he knee down my leg is almost twice the size of the other one. It is strange.
