If your feet slide down into the toes, you are wrong, they do not fit. Have a professional size your feet in an upscale shoe store. Also synthetic fibers hurt many peoples feet. They are too rigid and don't give and shape to your feet. Wearing leather will cure this. Try Bandalino, they never hurt my feet.

Hi two_kee_kees,

1. soak those tired feet in warm Epsom salts, & pat dry,
2. then rub essence of peppermint oil into bottoms & tops of feet,
3, go bare foot as much as possible (even in nylons you can step out of the shoes for a few),
4.Now put the feet up on an ottoman & relax them.
5.http://www.bass.com (now these are comfortable shoes).

No pumps aren't comfortable.
Find some comfortable shoes (bunny slippers for dress down days)have a good day. :0)

You can try one of those massaging gel insoles from Dr. Scholl's. It's got ridges in them so that your feet won't sweat as much and will be less likely to slide down to your toes. Or it could be your pantyhose that's causing that to happen....the ridges will help with that too. They're also super comfortable so you might even feel good in your shoes. Women's pumps are always gonna be uncomfortable....nothing about them is designed for comfort. So try those insoles...they might help.

Most women do not wear the right size shoes-go have some fit to you and lower the height of your heel that will help the sliding. You can still look pro without very high heels.

I often feel the same way about pumps so I wear loafers. I hear from others that they always wore pumps so they are used to it and can't wear flat shoes like tennies or loafers.

Hope you find a comfortable heel, I know I haven't yet.
