I have osteoarthritis, fibromalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome. I have had two cervical spinal surgeries. I have 4 or 5 discs fused with metal plate and screws into spine. More surgery may not help. No promise of good results. Also low back pain.

her doctor has her on Methadone for pain because other things werent working anymore...supposely. She is on 100mg Serequel, ambian cr, diet pills(phentremine),ativan and some kind of liquid pain killer i think codeine/codone. I feel like it is too much. My family and i are wanting to get help for her, i think she on way too much. She lives in a different state than us and has 2 young kids and we are worrying. Is this too much medication?

I just asked a question like this recently, but i have to ask to all of those that are diabetics or have to give themselves shots daily...is there something I could do to reduce the soreness. I have to give myself shots in the belly twice per day, it has only been 2 weeks, but i am sooooo sore now i can barely touch my stomach much less give myself a shot in it. I tried to inject my thigh, but i dont have any loose fat on my thighs to pinch so when i give the shot i feel pain, I swear, down my arm to my fingertips! It is awful! and I have only done that twice and now I am walking from a limp because my thigh is so sore. what can i do to reduce the pain, tenderness and itchiness of my belly now so i can keep doing the shots? I dont know any diabetics to ask how they do this to themselves every day. Please i would appreciate any suggestions.

Is morphine less addictive than oxycotin? I only ask because I have a family member that has been on oxycotin for years (yes, obviously addicted) and her doc has now put her on morphine instead, and is making her take pain management classes. I'm not really sure if he's trying to get her OFF of narcotics or if he's just another quack.
