It appears that a bit of improvement in your communications is in order.
I do not believe that reciprocity is in order, and attempting to inflict something similar upon her will likely lead to other marital problems, but you do need to let her know that you want these actions stopped.
Tell her openly that you are not fond of pain, especially this pain, and you greatly dislike what she is doing.
If you have some preferences, this would be an opportunity to offer those.
Very important: when you do this, be sure to ask her for her preferences, and also ask what she may dislike.
Improving communication in bed tends to lead to a happier life overall, and for a longer time.

It sounds like she enjoys causing you discomfort. Try asking her, maybe she's afraid to bring it up to you. I'm not suggesting that you allow it to continue, but you should both know if she has a little sadistic side.
