No, not really. Deep muscle cramps can be felt days or even weeks later, but unless you had some external trauma (car accident, a fall, etc) there shouldn't be any permanent damage.

Make sure you stay well hydrated at all times, especially during exercise. Dehydration quickly causes muscle cramps.

I only get cramps in my feet, and they happen for these reasons, I've determined: 1) Stress 2) A cold floor, or the cold in general. (happens when I'm barefoot or shoeless) 3) Dehydration, to confirm what you wrote. (drinking a lot of water makes the cramps go away.) 4) Ill-fitting shoes 5) A combination of any of the above

A one off cramp while being painfull and can last for quite a few days at times is not a big concern, however the reason for it should be.Be sure that you have an adequate salt intake if you are a reasonably active person. f you are not a salt [type] person be sure to add a fair source of electolytes to your daily intake.

Nah. That happens all the time to me and it goes away within at least a week if it hurts a little bit after a few days.

Not typically. The pain from a severe cramp can last for over a week, so give it time.
