Right, I have a diformed right ear. I was picking the wax over the membrain covering the hole. Days later ive got a bad pain down my cheek and its swollen up. So i went to the Doctors and he put me on FLUCLOXACILLIN 250mg. I have been on these since yesterday afternoon and have took 5 so far. going to take another one at 10pm

That side of my face is stinging like hell , Doc thinks its infected. Im finding it harder to open my mouth without the pain and stinging. Its getting worse. It came over in a really bad pain earlier and i got worried. This is the ear they operated on when i was a kid. It was 12 years ago.

I cant stand this pain for much longer. + The brain is to the right side of your head and i also had that operated on 7 years ago to remove a clot that was pressed to the brain.

You GP may need to increase your dose of antibiotics but you should probably go back to your GP anyway if it's giving you that much grief.

Antibiotics don't normally kick in though until you've taken a couple of days worth and because they work through your blood stream it can take longer for it to get to your ear because of limited blood flow to that part of the body.

Don't search the internet for medical information though...always a bad idea as you'll end up convincing yourself that something really serious is wrong.

It it gets too unbearable then go to A&E to get it checked out.
