About three weeks ago I pulled a muscle on theleft side of my neck by jerking it funny when I got out of bed in the morning. The pain was abolutely horrible, but after three days, it was significantly better, and after a full week, I have almost full mobility in my neck again.

However, I'm noticing now that there's a light pain in the right side of my neck, a little toward the back of my neck when I stretch and rotate my head in circles (doctor-recommended). I'm wondering if maybe it's caused by the fact that for a good week, I barely moved my neck at all, and it's just stiff (that's kind of what it feels like)? It's definitely in one spot and hurts the most when I tilt my head back, clockwise, coming from the right side.

Any advice is welcomed, as long as you're serious. Thanks :)

I asked a question a few days ago about a headache that wouldn't go away even with meds. Now the headaches are being accompanied by a very sore neck. It seems like throughout the day my neck gets really stiff and then the headache comes along. It is not on the same side of the neck every day. Its switches from one side to the other. I am not sure what this can be buts its getting really annoying. Any ideas??

A physio person told my husband that she feels he has arthritis in his hip causing him to have a problem walking. His knee will bend outward and one foot freezes as he is trying to
walk with a walker. When the foot freezes it will not move until it is ready to. This is very frustrating to my husband.

My back pain first started 7 years ago. I was playing racquetball for the first time in life (though I played tennis and other sports), and I quickly learned that I could not play for more than 3-8 minutes. I would attempt to return a serve and suddenly my back would lock it up. It would take forever to walk across the campus, the pain was very intense, and I would be half paralyzed. Anyway, I stopped playing. The pain and lock-ups came now and then over the years. At some points in time, I would literally be unable to move, except by dragging my body along the floor with the strength of my arms. I've been bedridden for 3 days at a time. Anyway, a year ago, I finally went to the doctor. I have a pinched nerve and a ton of arthritis (more than the doc has ever seen in patients 2x my age). He suggested a corti shot, and/or back surgery. The surgeon he sent me to was a joke, I never did get the shot. I've been on pain-killers for the past year now - I stopped taking the

For about three days now I have had a migraine. I've been taking some aspirin, and that only works for a few hours before it comes back. It hurts mostly around and behind my eyes. I'm thinking it might be caused by me not sleeping a full night. Though I don't know how only sleeping a few hours in one night can cause a migraine that doesn't go away. I mean I think I would of caught up on sleep by now.

My aunt thinks I should get my eyes checked, but I see fine. So that couldn't be it, could it? Anywho...

What could cause a migraine that doesn't want to leave and how can I get rid of it?

This has been going on for atleast a year but i thought it would go away. When i wake up in the morning the right side of the top of my back hurts and it hurts to move. Throughout the day my back feels very uncomfortable and it feels like i need to pop it all the time.

i have seen a chiropractor, i've had massauges, ive used icy hot and ive done everything i can think of. I know when i go and see a doctor that all they are going to do is tell me take motrin for the pain. i even have a massauge chair for my back that i use and it helps temporary.

When i put my head forwardand just barely to the left i can feel it pulling in just the spot where it hurts and feel uncomfortable. What could this be? I wear Kevlar helmet and vest at work (military) and im constantly on the go but its been like that for 3 yrs and my back has only been doing this for about a year!!

Thanks for the help

I had a laminectomy L5/S1 (without fusion) on Jan 25, 2007. I still have the same pain in the same places I had prior to the surgery. I have researched all the usual sites and the answers are not at all encouraging. I expected to at least be able to get by with minor residual leg pain that eventually would get better with time. I still have to use narcotics daily to get any relief. I tried just using Extra Strength Tylenol but that didn't touch the pain. I used Lyrica for a few days but it made me feel weird. I really am looking for others who have had a laminectomy to give me some encouragement and maybe share their experience with me. Will this awful leg pain ever go away so I don't have to plan my life around it??? Just for the record my leg pain started on St. Patrick's Day 2006. I tried all the conservative treatments before I finally had to give in to the surgery. I am currently doing PT which doesn't seem to help. I would love to hear that I will get better with time.
