Okay I just recently heard that they discovered Tylenol (Headache med.) caused liver promblems! Would this also apply to the Infants Tylenol as well? Any one up to date on the Tylenol Issues?

I think the pediatricians now recommend alternating doses of acetaminophen with ibuprofen. Either is better than the effect of a very high fever.

Liver problems will only occur if the person taking it uses it for prolonged periods of time. The same goes for Motrin (Ibuprofen) eating away at your stomach; it only happens in prolonged use.

If a person uses the medication responsibly, they don't need to worry. However, it goes without saying that this only applies to those who have a normal functioning liver. A person who's liver isn't healthy will obviously face issues that a normal healthy person would not.

This goes for children and adults. A child should only be given Tylenol or any other OTC pain relief under a doctor's recommendation.
