Have has a stiff and tense neck for over two months now. How do I release the tension and stiffness in my neck? Sometimes it feels completely exhausted. I have had X-Rays done to make sure it is not spinal but have not done an MRI for a pinched nerve. There is no real pain. Just a feeling of tightness and sometimes a deep ache feeling like my neck muscles are completely exhausted.

I've been having leg cramps at night usually when I'm asleep. I understand it can be a normal thing but it isn't the ones where your leg cramps up and toes crunches together, mine is actually very painful. While I'm tossing in bed, I can feel it coming when I stretch or bend, and I have to wake my bf up to tug on it for about a minute and massage the calf at the same time. Last night he did that and right when he stopped it came back again immediately and he had to do it all over again just longer. I've tried straightening it out but that doesn't help at all and I'm at the point where I do want to cry out ( and I can stand pain) but this is just so terrible, its hard to explain. And my calf is sore for about 2-3days after. What can it be?

I'm a runner. I've never had this problem before. But when I lift my right leg where the leg attatches (near the groin area) I get sharp horrible pain and it will last until I move my leg back. I hope this made sense but I'm hoping a person who knows a lot about sports medicine will answer this and follow me up. Don't be afraid to e-mail me.

I'm having horrible chest pains on my right side. It woke me up every 30 minutes last night. I can't stand up straight, bend over, or do any strenuous activities. I've had a horrible cough for about a week now. I don't know if that might've caused it or what. Do I need to call a doctor?

I have had 2 back surgerys, discsectomy and spinal fushion, I still have severe low back pain, and the pain goes down my leg often. i have suffered with this for over 8 long years now. I see my doctor, and he gives me vicodin ES, and soma. but these medications no longer work for me. I have never abused my medications, however, I am reluctant to tell my doctor, because doctors often think you just want stronger medication. ive been to pain clinics, and have had epiderals, and have been to physical therapy, all have had no effect on my pain whatsoever. in fact, they made it worse for me. I am totally at my wits end, on what to do next. My doctor tells me I will be in pain for the rest of my life. So is there anybody out there that could advise me on what my next course sould be? I dont mind being on medication, and I dont want any further surgery on my back. (not yet, becides, theres no guarentee of that doing anything) I cant seem to find any relief, and I need help.thanks

I am 18 wks pregnant, but since almost the beginning of my pregnancy I have been getting achey pains in my right side, in my ribs. It has been getting steadily worse over the last 4 months. Now it moves back and forth from the front to my back. Have been to the hospital and they couldn't find gallstones,(which they thought it was). Seems to last a few days then I have a few days of relief. Doesn't matter if I eat healthily/junk food. But I do seem to feel really bloated when this occurs.

I sure hope so cuz my quality of life will greatly improve, I mean, it isn't fair to my kids that daddy is always in pain so he can't play with them and then my wife has to do all the things I'm sposed to do but I can't cuz Im in so much pain and then I can't sleep at night so I keep everyone up cuz I'm in so much pain. See then my kids don't get to sleep so they 're tired in the mornign and cranky, then we all fight and don't get along..then I'll be like walking outside and my whole side goes numb and I literally fall down, I think I have sciatica or something like that, so you see, I really need to be prescribed oxy's. What? Vicodin? Oh, ummm..no way, it makes my tummy hurt, I can only take oxy's. Oh, you want me to try therapy? No, see..I can't..I don't have time to do that cuz I have to work... oh, they're open at night? Oh..nope, therapy won't work so I'll just take the oxy's and everything will be good. No, can't take ibuprofen, only oxy's work for me..What? My oxy's are ready?

What's the best way to get rid of the pain? I'm not just sore because I go to the gym often and the pain in my shoulder/neck is a different type of pain. It's constant and very annoying, what should I do?

i have shoulder tendonitis and i take 3 advil a day before baseball practice so i can play through the pain everyday. Today i woke up and my stomach is hurting. I think its cuz of advil, but 3 a day is less than the advised amount. I'm wondering if this is just temporary and if taking 3 advil a day is too much. Ive been doing that for aobut a month.
