Have has a stiff and tense neck for over two months now. How do I release the tension and stiffness in my neck? Sometimes it feels completely exhausted. I have had X-Rays done to make sure it is not spinal but have not done an MRI for a pinched nerve. There is no real pain. Just a feeling of tightness and sometimes a deep ache feeling like my neck muscles are completely exhausted.

I have the same problem. Try to SHOCK IT. put an Ice pack on it till it is numb then lay in a tub of water as hot as you can take. iIt should relax the muscles. It works great for back pain also.

go to a chiropractor and have it adjusted it will probably feel much better after that. another option is massage therapy between the chiropractor and massage therapy one of them will take the pain away and the up side is that you will feel great after
