You are half way there because you've come to Yahoo Answers to answer silly questions and stuff. Other than that: well, while you are at your computer you could go and look up interesting subjects on the Internet and read about them. Learn a new skill that you can learn relatively quickly (from the internet, there are lots of free tutors). I can always find something amusing here, I like to read and learn and the best thing about the internet is that you've got thousands and thousands of books at a click of a mouse (you don't have to go to the library). Have fun.

Poor dear - I wish you a very speedy recovery!

I would suggest books and a good deal of them. You could start with 'For One More Day' by Mitch Albom. It's a very interesting book from the author of 'Tuesdays with Maury'

If you are not a reader - you may think to pick up Suduko. Despite the numbers, it's a very simple game with no math involved at all. You can play on line, using handheld electronic games or in a book.

If all else fails and you are craving some on line time. You may consider creating your own myspace page. Trust me, learning all that took me quite a while - it could be good for at least a week of distractions between updating your page and searching for old friends.

Again, best of luck - I hope this time moves very quickly for you!

While housebound with a broken ankle I joined an on line scrabble club, it was free and world wide so was able to play at any time of day or night.

if you google in scrabble you should be able to find it, if you don't like scrabble I expect there are other on line games that you can play for free.

Hope this helps

Get an XBOX 360 (or have someone get one for you) and buy Gears of War. You will play all day and be addicted. It's so fun, but kind of pricey. But you are investing so it's okay. :o)

How about something constructive whilst you are watching the telly, such as a tapestry kit? It will keep your hands occupied, and stop you from snacking.
