You will find that no vitamins will actually treat the pain associated with arthiritis as a short term fix. However, there are proven natural supplements that can assist in the reduction of pain associated with arthritis:
Glucosamine/Chondroitin Sulphate - see www.glucosamine-arthritis.org for information about the studies and how it can help and also Shark Cartilage.
Anything taken in excessive amounts will be no good for the liver, but most things are ok in moderation.
Good luck

Forget vitamins, the one thing I've heard works wonders is beestings, see if there's somewhere local that will do them.

I think they increase the amount of healing(for lack of a better word, but like antibodies and such) in the area. As well it releases endorphins which help with the pain.

Try it, it can't hurt any more than the arthritis.

Oh and if it fails, ask your doctor about botox for the area that's in pain, it numbs the nerves.

There is no medicine to treat any pain. Because medicine science doesn't know the reason or origine of pain.
Only Alternate systems of medicine can treat pain. Acupressure treats acute pains and acupuncture treats chronic pains.
Arthritis is such a monster that it can't be treated with single therapy. Acupuncture treats it but with limited success. Our recent research has enabled us to treat it with 90% success.
