I usually drink one cup in a day, but when I misses that, I get the headache in the afternoon. My friends told me that it is the lack of caffeine which does not dilate the blodd vessels in the head, which causes the pain.

I have been suffering from chronic recurring migraines since I was 8, now 26 it's out of control. I take topamax and zomig and yesterday the neurologist gave me maltmax, I beleive it's called...I'm on day 3 of a wicked headache, and it comes and goes. Are there herbal remedies or something else I could try. I have the room dark, no lights, no noise. I have extreme sensative to light and smell. What does everyone do? Any help? Suggestions? Oh yes, and yesterday I also enrolled in a Botox trial with a well know migraine doc. so I will be keeping a headache log.

My hands have hurt for two years post accident with neck injury. Duh, i can't get any doctors to say that my hand pain is coming from my neck. They say CTS but my thumbs and forefinger are fine, perfectly fine. Here are the symptoms: Before I started taking Lyrcia for nerve pain (hello?), the pain in my hands, mainly my pinkies and ring finger hurt so bad that I lost my job as a legal secretary. Yes, I may have CTS, but it's not the median nerve as much as something else. MY hands are swollen, larger than they should be, completely numb on the top of my hands and down the side of my hand along the pinkie and down to the wrist. What is it?

Hi, i am 30 years (2007) and having headache since 1992, it makes total of 15 years. i use to have Crocin(Indian brand of painkiller, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/crocin).... And sometime's Disprin. Almost daily i had to have either one of these before going to bed otherwise i could not sleep. I do not take both together. if i wake up early around 6:30 am, i do not feel pain in head otherwise i will 100% get headache if i wake up on or after 7/8 am. If i eat/drink ice-cream, cold-dinks, yogurt, milk pain will strike any time of the day else it will only start around 9-11 pm in night. it also depend on my work/movement, if i work more there are very good chances that it wont strike. mostly it strike at back of my neck and on the right side of skull above the ear and front of head. any suggection!

I have been taking Naproxen (500mg) for a week. I was prescribed these for a stomach problem. I have also had migraines for the past few months. The naproxen seems to be helping with my stomache but not my migraine. In fact it seems to be making my head pain worse.
I was wondering if it was safe to take paracetomol for my headaches alongside the Naproxen?
I will also talk to my doctor about this.
Thanks in advance.

Recently with a significant weight gain, heavy alcohol consumption, and poor diet, i have noticed not necesarily a "pain" but a discomfort in the upper right stomach area, and slighty in the surrounding area. Also have the same, in the same area, but on the back, as if I pulled a muscle in my back. It only really hurts when pressure is applied to the certiain area. I have felt no naseua, and have not noticed any difference in urine or stool. Any ideas? And any advice to what I can do?
I have had my liver tested and that was ok, as well as my intenstines.

so i fell about a month an a half ago and tore a ligament in my hand and had to have it repaired. Right now i have a cast on with 2 pins keeping it together. I play guitar and drums and have been doing so since the surgery. As of about the last week or 2 my hand has been in SO much pain but not enough to like cry or anything. Kind of like a pressure pain. so i want to know if you may think something is wrong? could a pin have slipped ? could i be stressing something to much ? im really scared to get my cast off cause i think my hand will be worse off.
