HI THERE VICTORIA,
25mcg Fentanyl patch is the lowest dose there is........i am now putting a new Fentanyl 100mcg patch on every TWO days....the 100 mcg Fentanyl patch is the strongest patch they make.
Not only do i have the patches, but i take 60mg. of Morphine 4 times a day, plus Lortab 10/500mg. 4 to 5 times a day plus
vicodin 5/500 for breakthru pain. why ???
because i am suffering from acute Fibromyalgia and i went thru the Carpal Tunnel surgeries bi-laterally plus, i need hip replacement surgery plus need Bi-lateral surgery on my feet that are deformed and very painful and lastly, i am having severe lower back pain. and that's just the half of it. i won't go into details
with the rest of it......so all you kids out there.....i wish you the best of luck and may God bless and keep you healthy and happy
but most of all HEALTHY for the rest of your lives.......oh yeah,
there is one more thing, i suffer from interstitial pulmonary fibrosis and on top of that , i am a diabetic. so how does that grab you ?????? luv, sweetness #1

It is all relevant to what painkillers you have been taking and for how long. Your body builds up a tolerance to pain killers. The more you take the more you need to kill the pain. 25mkg is a strong dose for some one who has just started pain mngmnt. Not very strong for someone who has been in pain management for some time. It is one of the smaller dose sizes the patch comes in. 50 and 75mkg are the next 2 dose sizes larger. One of these two doses is usually prescribed to some one in chronic pain with a bit of a tolerance to opiate based pain killers.

It is a low dose of fentanyl patch but fentanyl is a strong drug. 25mcg is the second lowest fentanyl dose but there are a lot of drugs that are weaker than fentanyl.
