Hi, i am 30 years (2007) and having headache since 1992, it makes total of 15 years. i use to have Crocin(Indian brand of painkiller, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/crocin).... And sometime's Disprin. Almost daily i had to have either one of these before going to bed otherwise i could not sleep. I do not take both together. if i wake up early around 6:30 am, i do not feel pain in head otherwise i will 100% get headache if i wake up on or after 7/8 am. If i eat/drink ice-cream, cold-dinks, yogurt, milk pain will strike any time of the day else it will only start around 9-11 pm in night. it also depend on my work/movement, if i work more there are very good chances that it wont strike. mostly it strike at back of my neck and on the right side of skull above the ear and front of head. any suggection!

The #1 contributor is insufficient water intake. According the the head of neurology at UCDavis (about 10 years ago) running a body too low on water is like running a car low on oil (and we know that can lead to the engine seizing).
Two house hold muscle relaxers (because they contain magnesium and potassium) are bananas and molasses (swig it or put it in something)
Any type of headache (barring things like cancer) is caused by the muscles being too tight. But the muscles involved are the back, shoulders (even in the front) neck and any/everywhere on the head.
The muscles get knots in the fibers called trigger points which keep the muscles tight.
Start with a massage. Rub or lightly scratch through your hair first. You will find places that are tender these are trigger points. Rub them 6 -12 times per session 6 times a day until they go away.

Spigelia -- for migraines described as a stinging, burning, or throbbing pain, often on the left side of the head; symptoms tend to worsen with exposure to cold weather and with motion, but are temporarily relieved by cold compresses and when the individual is lying on the right side with the head propped up

Sanguinaria -- for right-sided headaches that begin in the neck and move upwards, recur in a predictable pattern (such as every seven days), and are accompanied by nausea and vomiting; pain is aggravated by motion, light or sun exposure, odors, and noise; this remedy is appropriate for children who may have a craving for spicy or acidic foods, despite having a general aversion to eating due to the headache

If it's going on for 15 years, you really should see a doctor. Headaches can be warning signs of pretty scary things, but it could also be something relatively benign like low blood sugar. My advice is to see a doctor and get an extensive work-up! Have you spoken to any doctors yet?

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information
