I was out at an all day concert on Saturday and I think my lips got chapped. They are slightly dry and cracky. However, the things that is concerning me is I have what appears to be like a sore on my lips. I don't have HSV1 exposure as far as I know. My last test was 5 months ago. Could this be herpes, or does chapped lips have this symptom? It's not really a sore as much as what it would look like if you picked your lips.

Help! Urgent! What good anti-biotic medicines for burning throat are OTC and can be bought at Walgreen?

Hi all,

I just burned my throat. I ordered some food and I ate too fast while it's still very hot. It almost choked in my throat. But now I am okay. The only problem now is that my throat is burned. I feel painful in my throat. And I am sure it will develop into sore throat and then become inflammatory. I will have to see a doctor and take some anti-biotics. If I am strong enough, I probably will be able to go through it without seeing a doctor. The problem is that I am having a light cold these days. So I am actually a bit weak. I am not sure. Given my busy schedule, I don't want it to develop into inflammatory and force me to see the doctor. Could anybody recommend some good "anti-biotics" type medicines that are good for such burning throat and so that I can confine the sickness to a limited range so that my body can sustain it? Getting inflammation will be horrible. Thank you!

Do you or know someone who always sways their foot/feet while laying in bed.......just before going to sleep? Almost every night before falling asleep moving their foot back and forth.

A way of relaxing maybe.......is there a name for this?

I've always been a sleeping beauty. well, donno about beauty but i sleep a lot. I can sleep for the whole day if no one wakes me up. If i don't sleep for atleast 8 hours per night, i get very cranky, moody and i even get sick sometimes. Normally i slept 10 hours every night for the past few years but yesterday i slept for almost 18 hrs. whats wrong with me?? can any health professional shed light on this?? how can i change this habit or pattern? Sometimes i start working but then i leave work coz of this sleeping pattern.

I go to school for personal training and this last class they really whipped us..but halfway through i got really sick to my stomach, my right ear closed, got dizzy, and got a migraine that lasted the rest of the night....a couple of months ago i started getting these migraines when i would work out...whats going on with me! was curious for other people that have had kidney stones, how long did it take for you to pass them, and how long were you out of commission for, i have two young children and i can't afford to be on these pain meds for too long, they make me really loopy, but without them i feel like i am gonna die. So i was just wondering how long it normally takes to pass a stone. thanks for your answers, and for those of you who have had this i feel sorry for you i wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy, this pain is worse than my labor was!!

I am having surgery on Tuesday and having tests done today in like 7 hours, im not sure what tests they need to do but the little book that came with my surgery said nothing in my mouth before the tests, does this include smoking? Also can I drink a bit of water, im thirsty? Also if the food never touches my mouth can I eat it?.....im not kidding im getting hungry and this test isnt for several hours..

There's a health carnival at my office. I took this opportunity to check my health and discovered that my bones aren't like the others. The graph shows my bones at negative no. which more likely are the bones for 60 year old person. The health spokeperson says that I should quit drinking tea, coffee & cola.. What's wrong with me actually? I'm still young to have bones problem.

so whenever i try to go to bed, and i get comfy and everything, but then i get the strongest urge to pee. although, when i use the restroom i don't pee at all. i also always feel kinda nauseous, if that has anything to with it... i dont really think it's something serious to the point i need to see a doctor.
but why am i having all these urges to pee, when i don't even have to?!?
