after a sunburn i cant even stand to get IN the water, especially if it is hot. the water hittin me stings. i would suggest a cooler shower, but then again too cold is painful too. take some motrin and use lots of aloe based lotion.

I think that would just cause pain. It also would not help since you have a burn...you want to take the heat OFF, not add to it. Use pure Aloe, it is cooling and also helps with your skin.

no, it only adds to the discomfort, feels good when it stops. Suggest plain white vingar, pour it over the burns and then take a tepid shower to wash it off, sting will be gone.

Try soaking in a tub of cool water with baking soda this helps.

No! The skin is already damaged - don't further add to the damage by causing more inflammation. OUCH!
