Give your Dr's office a call they will be able to answer all your questions. I'm not sure about the smoking but you shouldn't eat or drink anything.

If the test is in several hours, you'll live. Nothing in the mouth means NOTHING IN THE MOUTH. Smoking is especially a bad idea. Just hang in there, or you'll risk messing everything up. If you really, really need a bite, give the doctor's office a call and see if they can let you have something, and what.

When they say nothing by mouth they mean nothing not even a smoke. If you do it, you could mess up your tests and you would have to do them all again

I'd say no to everything to ask... But why not call the doctor and ask?? They'll be able to tell you for sure.
