I was out at an all day concert on Saturday and I think my lips got chapped. They are slightly dry and cracky. However, the things that is concerning me is I have what appears to be like a sore on my lips. I don't have HSV1 exposure as far as I know. My last test was 5 months ago. Could this be herpes, or does chapped lips have this symptom? It's not really a sore as much as what it would look like if you picked your lips.

Excessive exposure to the sun may have caused this. Drink lots of water and put Vitamin E oil on your lips as often as you need it. That should do the trick.

Probably a raw spot from your lips peeling. Get some Burt's Bees lip balm or some Carmex, or Blistex in the green tube. Personally I do not like chapstick. Apply to moisten your lips and help them heal.

Most likely it's just excessively dry chapped lips. I suggest you get some chapstick (something non medicated or mentholated) and keep it on them. Stay out of the sun and hopefully it will go away.

Nah it'll go away. In the mean time use Berts Bees chapstick. It'll sooth the pain. Also ice in them makes it feel better.
