There's a health carnival at my office. I took this opportunity to check my health and discovered that my bones aren't like the others. The graph shows my bones at negative no. which more likely are the bones for 60 year old person. The health spokeperson says that I should quit drinking tea, coffee & cola.. What's wrong with me actually? I'm still young to have bones problem.

I too have this problem.
Eat right, take a calcium/Vit D supplement, and yes stop the tea, coffee and colas.
I limit one cola/day. I drink milk, eat yogart and do weight bearing exercise.
I am 35-ish and have shrunk about 1/4 of an inch. I have started having spine fractures due to this.
See your doc ASAP, could help.

I agree with Ed teach- Health fairs are only a baseline of information- intended to be followed up with your physician if a problem is found. Was the test they did called a bone density? If so and it showed early bone loss- don't panic. Women that are of asian descent or small framed women are most at risk for osteoporosis and bone loss. There are many things you can do to strengthen your bones- Take Calcium with Vitamin D, participate in weight bearing exercises if your health permits. But the first thing you need to do is see your doctor and let him advise you on where to go from here. Good Luck.

Hold on before you jump into anything. Health Fairs may provide simple screenings such as blood pressure checks. How did they determine your bone health? If it was just a questionnaire, then it is making a conclusion by evaluating your answers. Was bloodwork drawn or were xrays taken?

My point being that health fairs can provide basic information. They stimulate interest in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. However, some get tainted by vitamin sales and other gimics trying to create business.

If you are concerned, see your MD for a basic physical. Tell she or he about your worries.

Two things:
1) wrong diet
You must research what calcium and Vit D nutrients you can add to your diet. Suggest supplemental calcium and Vit D

2) not enough weight bearing work (exercise)
This is not the kind of weight lifting that will make you look like Arnold Swarzenegger (sp?)
Whatever weight is heavy enough so you can just do 20 repetitions (body builders do 8 reps Max.).
It's also called resistance training. For your legs you can use exercise bands. They essentially do the same thing but you don't look like a jock doing the exercises.

straightforward. The 6 days of advent weren't 24 hour days. i will coach that inspite of the bible. an afternoon of a 24 hour rotation became not even made till the fourth day. This verse starts the fourth day of advent. Gen a million:14 "Then God stated, "enable there be lighting fixtures in the expanse of the heavens to chop up the day from the night, and enable them to be for warning signs and for seasons and for days and years;" so as that proves the 1st 3 days weren't 24 hour days. The Apostle Peter says,"an afternoon is as a one thousand years to the Lord". So positioned all that collectively and there is the tale of the attractive device of evolution beginning up that's technique. by some means the dinasaurs have been area of that technique. Adam and Eve weren't the 1st created homo sapiens. They have been the 1st human beings that had a soul, an information of God and of suited and incorrect. subsequently God says on the 6th day, "enable us to make guy in our image," because of the fact in that "day" (one thousand's of years?) guy progressed to be the only animal to be like God understanding stable from evil.

I don't know what's wrong, unless it's osteoporosis, and that's for old people. You need to visit your doctor and talk to him about this.
