I jsut noticed it a couple days ago. Just past my elbow in the direction of my shoulder is a spot of skin that is numb to the touch. But if I poke it or move my arm too quickly it aches. I haven't hit my arm on anything or gotten cut on anything but it's really wierd and I don't like it. Medical advice would be most appreciated.

Are the insurance companies in your country really trying to cut the expenses, not caring if you die or not, and then get away with it??

Just recently, I started noticing that when I turn my head, it sounds like wind in a tunnel in my right ear. It happens real fast. It is so strange. Never happened to me before. Does anyone know what can be causing it. I don't think I got water in my ear or anything.

I am donating blood on Thursday for a major blood drive, I've donated blood before so 'm ok with it. The next day I am taking off on vacation in an 11 hour flight.
Should I worry about lowering my immune system, or any risks to my health over this?

Any professional opinions would be great, thank you!

I'm a very light sleeper and my hubby's snoring wakes me up several times a night. We've tried the Breathe-Right strips, which do help...some. He can shift positions in bed to sleeping on his side but that doesn't work long-term, either. Any really viable suggestions? I can't sleep in earplugs and we're not getting separate bedrooms. :) Thanks!

My mother-in-law needs breast reduction surgery. The Dr. Wants his fee ($6000) paid before he does the procedure. He says that is because he has trouble collecting from medicare.

My mother-in-law says that she called medicare and got approval for the surgery.

My question is how do I make sure the Surgeon makes an effort to collect from Medicare. (it's my $6000)

be it in a normal daily activity such as brushing teeth or walking, he/she can just close their eyes, fall asleep and just lay on the ground.

I can't sleep at all! My panic disorder has been keeping me up late at nights to the point where even if I'm completely worn out, I can't get to sleep because of attacks! And I have my first volleyball practice in one day and that starts at 10 am! Any suggestions on how I could get to sleep without using sleeping pills (since they might interfere with my medication)?

My brother and I share a one bedroom apartment. He has the bedroom and I sleep in the living room. Which is also where my computer is and the television aswell. Here is the trouble. He tends to fall asleep on the couch (the man can fall asleep in 10 seconds flat and often does) and he snores! I am talking about sawing wood here, which is distracting when I am trying to watch television or work on my computer. Now I know if we had a 2 bedroom place it would be a problem but we don't. I wake him up constantly and tell him to shut up and just go sleep in his bed but he merely grins at me or gives a little laugh and falls immediately back to sleep and a moments later he's snoring again. Now, if your suggestions involve violence or something disgusting "JOG ON" and don't bother responding. What can I do, he's told me to tell him what he's doing and he'll go to bed. But he does not and infact gets angry now when I tell him he's snoring.

my question is why do we need a different insurance for teeth and vision? is our mouth and eyes not part of our body? i just think its stupid that we need different insurance for different parts of the body. how are people suppose to be healthy if they cannot afford health care? this is america shouldnt we all be insured like all the other industrialized nations who have universal health care?

The capital holdings tax would be like a property tax. It would not effect anyone with holdings of less than 2 million dollars. It could be graduated to get the most from those that are hoarding the most in resources. 1 dollar out of every thousand over 2 million up to 5 million then 2 dollars for every thousand to 10 million ect, etc This would make the very rich pay the most. A new thought in this country. This kind of tax will never happen until we make it against the law to pay a lobbyist.

I know someone who has 2 family doctors within commuting distance of his home. I just wondered if their is any provincial regulation restricting each resident to one family doctor. Many people cannot find one doctor .I feel he is denying someone else a doctor.I'd like specific site information if you know it or just your opinions Thanks
