I'm trying to kick the habit, I have tried twice before using the patches etc and they didnt work so I'm going cold turkey this time. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions that they did to get them past the times of cravings?

Its been 12 hours since my last smoke. I miss them so much!!!!!

My foot has been swelling up on me for the last 2 weeks and I getting kinda concerned about it. yes I do plan on going to the doctor if it continues but I really want an answer now of what it could be. I'm thinking its a little more of a serious problem.

first: I'm overweight
second: diabetes runs in my family
third: my moms feet used to swell bad but we always thought it was because of her drinking.
forth: its not swoll when I get up in the mornings
fifth: it is fluid cause when I push on it, then the impressions stay there.
sixth: high blood pressure really runs in the family

see so I'm getting a little worried. do you know why it would swell. its only my left foot and ankle. and I have not injured it or got a bite. its something internal. Has anyone had this happen to them? thanks for listening and please try and help.

I have a prescription for Synthroid, but insurance won't cover it because there is a generic available. I don't mind paying out of pocket, but will it be cheaper one place over another?

I had a outpatient surgery in May that my doctor had recommended but I told him that I could only do it if my insurance covered it. He had the billing nurse call my insurance and they told me that it would only cost a $50 co-payment. Since then I have changed jobs and therefore changed insurance companies. Now I have a bill for $144 saying that my insurance only covered a portion. I don't know if they are charging me now because by the time it processed I was no longer under that insurance? Are they allowed to do this after the fact? Do I have any rights to get rid of the bill?

As a teenager I had bad acne, and never touched my face, but still ended up with a lot of scarring. Did any one have this problem and was able to eliminate them or significantly reduce them? Iam married with 3 children so I live a normal life. But I still hate to see these marks on my face, and my long time dream is to get rid of them or at least reduce them somewhat.

i sleep on average 2-3 hours every day and i function 100%,my question is why do i feel tired when i sleep for the average of 7-8 hours?? i cant funtion properly...please help.thanksxx

I know a question has been posted similar, but im lokoing for the best one? my ears been blocked for god knows how long, i've used Otex drops for about week n bit, though not religiously but enough for it to have worked, but its not. doc told me to ring this week is still blocked to get syringed said lots of wax in there! Just rang docs, gonna be another 2 weeks before can get syringed as they apparently put drops in for 2 weeks! may as well do that myself! doing my head in not being able to hear properly!

Hello,
I am 25years old and for the last 9 months i have had swollen lymph nodes on booth sides of my neck.
The left sides worse though and now i can feel a big one that is around near my voice box.
I see an ENT dr, but he keeps telling me to come back every few months and i don't feel right.
I ahve had a few ultrasounds and they all show the mass of different sized lymph nodes and the CT scan shows them as well.
I am going for anothe ultrasound next month then seeing him again in Oct.
My question is has anybody gone through this, and what was the outcome?
I get cold real easily, my voice gets crocky i can't yell properly, i find it hard to swollow things like cake, bread ect and i can't drink fast (scull) when i lift my head up.
My throats not sure, but i touch one of the lumps near my voice box it feels tender.
What do think it is?
The last ultrasound about 2 months ago, showed one of the nodes is just over 1cm now.
Ta anyhelp would be appreciated.

I looked into someone's perscription sunglasses for a total of about 10 seconds. Later, I got a splitting headache, which may or may not been from staying in the sun all day. Has it ruined my vision forever? I don't really notice anything with my vision, but I'm scared. What do you guys think?

I keep hearing how great the US healthcare system is. I understand we pay more per capita than any other nation. We have massive use of bacterial control regulations and products. I have lived in two foreign contries where they have almost none of these measures and they seem healthy and live just as long (and longer) than we do. What do you think? Is it all just marketing and hype?
