my guinea pigs nail was torn off...-wht do i do- (its stoped bleading)?

help, his toe nail on the front foot was accidentaly torn off
-some how- ive heard the word (styptic powder a lot)

he should be fine just keep an eye on it and make sure that it does not get infected ,if you notice anything abnormal with it then get him or her to the vet . good luck .
