Or do the sleeping pills interfere with the different processes that take place during sleep?

And what about with anesthetic? Does the body behave like its asleep when you're put under for surgery?

I am fourteen years old, and therefore should get approximately nine to eleven hourse of sleep a night, correct? Most nights, due to my inability to fall asleep before 1:00 am (and belive me, I try!) I get around six hours. I am able to wake up in the morning and can function fine without any noticeable effects. Is not getting the reccomended amount of sleep for my age group bad for my health, even if I don't feel the effects?

Ok looking for the names of two songs.

One I remember lyrics are something like, "I can give what you want, I can give what you need", it was a chick sining, it also sounded like it had an electronica beat goin too.

The next one is the song from the iPod Shuffle commercial, sounds foreign, I would say French, but for all I know it could be English, or maybe something else.

I am just curious because I set my alarm for almost an hour before I need to wake up, to snooze up to 5 times. Is this easier on the body or if I go a week or so just snoozing once will I feel less tired during the day? Basically am I costing myself an hour of sleep each day by breaking it up 5 times?

I was so nervous when I gave my first shot this past semester. Anybody have any tips or anything that could help? I'd appreciate it if only people with experience replies.

ok.. i took my twins to the dr yesterday for a regular check up and they pricked their fingers to take blood and they found out that one of my boys has anemia.. i was just wonder is there any one out there that can tell me some healthy foods to help him in getting his red blood cells back to normal.. and let me in own some secrets for getting him to eat foods like leafy greens.. and this is not a problem that we have had before.. and he is also just getting over a slight cold and the dr said that sometimes this can make the count go down.. so they are just keeping any eye on him to make sure that is all that it is.. and she also put him on some iron medicine..

4 months ago i got my nose pierced... And today for some reason it decided to react, My nose is incredibly swollen, to the point i cant even move the ring. The BONE even hurts to poke, and It has its own freaking heartbeat. I went the piercer and they said it was an allergic reaction to the metal and they are making me a new ring. However, they arnt sure how long its going to take. Pretty much, I dont wanna deal with this pain over a simple piercing. What would happen if i TRIED to take out the jewlerly? And just .. let it grow. Or would tha tbe a bad idea since its all swollen and junk.. Its not an infection. Its not red or ozzing anything. Its just swollen and extremly painful

Would especially like to hear answers from people 60+ who might be able to offer the younger generation some helpful advice on living a full and happy life. Doesn't have to be health related, could be finance, relationships, etc., I just couldn't find a suitable category.

I have been an xray tech for a long time. Many, many times people have told me that they can feel the x-rays. Other x-ray techs have told me the same thing, that patients sometimes can feel the x-rays. It's amazing to me. Have you ever had an x-ray taken and been able to feel the x-rays pass through you? If so, what did you feel? Thanks!
