at the very least you should call a nursing helpline or your on call doctor.

pinch the nose, apply cold, but don't lean your head back. you will swallow your blood and will make yourself sick (and you could choke...but probably not since it's not heavy). head forward, and try not to blow it for a while if it stops bleeding. if you do blow it, blow softly.

if you go to the hospital, have someone drive you. you could get very light headed or dizzy. 2 hours is a LONG TIME, even for a trickle.

Yes.
I have had nosebleeds on and off all my life thanks to a vessel being right at the inside where it's easily hurt, but I never had a bleed last longer than 20-30 minutes.

I would highly suggest getting this looked after. The Dr. may need to cauterize, which is very simple to do. What my Dr. uses is a very small dab of silver nitrate on the end of a small Q-tip like object. It stings just a little, but makes a "scab" over the area and stops the bleeding. It's easy and quick.

Best to get this checked into as there can be other underlying things that can cause this, like high blood pressure, as well as other things.

Nah just let it bleed! LOL!!
Look if your worried get it checked out, if it eases up at least make a mental note to mention it to your doctor the next time you see him/her. If it becomes a habitual problem write down everytime it occurs and any other symptoms occur that way you can help your doc figure out the possible cause.

Try this (no, I'm not kidding):

Roll up a piece of Kleenex or toilet paper, and put it under your upper lip, so it is resting against your upper gums. Lie flat on your back. See if this helps in ten minutes or so. Good luck.

It may be an indication of high blood pressure. I should certainly have it checked by your doctor or hospital.
