My right knee is stiff a bit swollen and I'm having difficulty bending it properly, I dont remember any significant cause but am wondering how you know if it's fluid or something else? I know I should ideally rest it up but it being Christmas week I am so busy at work I cant really let the team down and take time off. Any suggestions?

feel dizzy nausea headaches and heart feels heavy or tight (i dun have any heart problem) sometimes i suddenly feel dizzy headaches very nausea and my heart beats very fast it last for a few days sometimes last a while i m very worried about it

Why are hot baths so relaxing, physically and mentally? I get that the water takes your weight, but thats only some of it. When I get into a hot bath I find the warmth incredibly soothing, but I dont understand why, what is it about heat that relaxes muscles and mind?

i've been wearing this type of contacts for a while and never had problems. i don't wear them very often also, just 2-4 days a week, and only for a couple of hours and i take good care of my eyes.

today my right eye reli hurt (felt like there were pieces of sand scratching my eye) so later when i took it out and put my glasses back on, everything was blurry in my right eye. my left eye is perfectly fine, but seems like i can see pretty well without contacts or glasses w/ my right eye. and i'm sure i took the contacts out and there r 2 of them in the trash can right now...

my right eye still feels irritated and is pretty red. i talked to my optometrist and she said i should wait for a day to see if it stays the same. but does anyone know what the problem could be?

I can't stop thinking about smoking and I didn't smoke for now its my second day and I ran out of cigs. I am comulsively thinking about buying more but I know I want to quit at the same time. I tried Zyban, nicorette and self-discipline but I have this exam coming up. Should I quit now or March 1? If now, how?

I lost my voice last night. This happens to me about once a year. But this time it's bad. I really can't speak at all tonight and I'm scared. :( My daughter (age 5) wonders why Mommy can't talk to her. I am a teacher and I need my voice! Help! Does anyone have any suggestions, remedies, etc.? Also, has anyone else ever had this happen to them? The doctor told me to not speak but that is impossible! Could it be made worse by not sleeping enough? I appreciate your help!!!!!!!!!!1

I am so proud of myself. Finally I did it - cold turkey babe - cold turkey . My skin looks better. I walk now 7 miles a day without grasping for fresh air. I can climb up 5 story building. Sex is excellent -

Its only 1 month - can you imagine one year will do....

If you smoke - quit now - and I am sure you will agree with me only within 1 month....yahooo

To be able to still be healthy and function normally?

I tried on 5-6 hours sleep each night for a week but ended up sleeping for about 12 on the Saturday night, would I get used to it in the end? Or get ill?

since i will be getting bunion surgery and feet will be in casts,i will have to probably use a bedpan. I will ask the nurse what i will use, she will probably say a bedpan. But since i feel uncomterable of having her see me, is it alright if i ask for something simpler like a diaper. Do they usualy let you choose the method you want to do, bed pan or diaper? is diaper a smater choice. I will be spending the night for 1 night. I am 12 years old.

My fiance recently underwent a colonoscopy and the prior preparation required her to "clean out her system". Would flushing the body in this way be a healthy thing to do on a regular basis? She honestly lost nearly 9lbs in the ummm......flushing process.

He has an eye condition.
Eye doctor,is doing a detailed eye exam. Which includes eye-drops. He hates these,won't let anyone near his eyes !!

So to keep him still, they are putting him in a "Mummy Restraint"

What is this ? Will it hurt him ? Can i be with him ?

Hospital is hot to trot to discharge her too early and wants her to pay for expensive TPN, anti-nausea, etc. and just can't live like that. If she gets released and doesn't use the TPN or whatever and needs to return to the ER because she is in constant pain, throwing up and/or dehydrated, can they refuse to help her? State law says they are supposed to allow everyone with emergencies, just don't know what happens after you leave with discharge notice and you don't or cannot do all of what they say. Please no social services advice, she does not qualify because she is married (both on social security so that makes them 'over income').

My boyfriend has a tendency to have SEVERE panic attacks on airplanes. His throat feels like it is constricting and he's afraid he won't be able to breathe and no one will be able to get to him to help. He totally freaks out. We almost has to get off a plane earlier this year. He does take Xanax on occasion but how much of it can you take at once to curb a possible freakout??

Okay, i work in the childrens department of the public library. I am so tired today i feel like i could fall asleep on the desk right now.
