I am so proud of myself. Finally I did it - cold turkey babe - cold turkey . My skin looks better. I walk now 7 miles a day without grasping for fresh air. I can climb up 5 story building. Sex is excellent -

Its only 1 month - can you imagine one year will do....

If you smoke - quit now - and I am sure you will agree with me only within 1 month....yahooo

Natural Quit Smoking Magic

I have tried many things to stop. I smoked 3 packs a day. I smoked so much it was more than my car payments every month. The best program I have used is the "quit smoking right now program" http://tinyurl.com/yag6v4
They helped me go cold turkey and never look back. In fact, I can have a cigarette now and not want another one. That's how great it works.
I used the patch as well, and didn't smoked for 2 months but had headaches every day. the mental part is hell, no question. what worked for me is chewing big red gum, (no other flavor helped, kinda strange), and changing your habits. if you normally wake up and smoke while drinking coffee, take a walk instead and have coffee when you get back. you really have to do something totally different at those times when you would normally be smoking. it's hard to do, but someone told me that the mental craving of a cigarette only lasts for 7 minutes, so, if you can get past that 7 minutes, it'll be easier! I suggest you invest in yourself and then put the money you are saving into a jar and watch it grow, then buy yourself a nice reward for quitting. good luck to you!

Hi first off congratulations for quitting!! It is not an easy thing to do and the psychological effects can last quite awhile. Just remember why you quit to begin with and hopefully knowing that if you don't you will die from it, that is what helped me. If there is anything you can treat yourself with like take the money you would use to buy cigarrettes and save it for a special vacation or new clothes that don't smell like smoke whatever you can find that you will like to replace that feeling. You are not alone, it is not easy but dont go back because you have come so far now!! DON'T use nicotine patches now as that is already out of your system you don't want to start puttting it back in and it will not help the psychological effects anyway. If you can find a good quit support group online that will help as wll. Good luck!!

I stopped smoking for 10 years. Then I worked with someone that I had the same break with. I started to smoke their cigarettes. I felt guilty about smoking their cigarettes, so I started to buy packs to share. Soon I was back into smoking. After another year I stopped smoking again. It's been about 15 years now. Both times that I quit, it was cold turkey. It was the hardest thing that I recalled doing. Afterwards, I thought about it and it was mind control. It takes a lot of determination to stop smoking, but it can be done. I did it!

How many packs a day did you smoke? How long have you smoked for? My hat comes off for you. Great job! You do deserve some credit. OK, alot! Are you taking CoQ-10, any vitamins? I am a smoker and I am trying to quit. Any suggestions/feedback you can give me. Thanks in advance.
