My friend has allergies and gets very embarrassed when she sneezes a lot in class. Sometimes when she gets going she just can't stop. Often when she starts having sneezing fits she leaves the classroom. Are there any good ways for her to stifle her sneezing? I feel bad for her. People laugh sometimes at her sneezing, not in a mean way, but for some reason it really embarasses her.

When I go up stairs, I can hear my knees crack which each step that I climb.

I'm about 40 years old.

What could this mean. I do have some pain in my knees, but it's the noise of cracking that drives me crazy.

Thank you

My 4 year old has barely learned to right his name. Once in a while he will write it from right to left and every letter is backwards. It looks right in a mirror! Is this something I should be concerned about?

I had mine today, and it was really painless. I was given a free t shirt from the hospital and encouraged to tell everyone to get the shot. So, here it goes. Get your flu shot this winter. Because I take care of cancer pts and give chemotherapy on a routine basis, it was important enough for the head of infectious diseases at our hospital to single me out to go get it this morning. The shirt was a small award for doing it. Why dont you get your flu shot?

My daughter is almost 6 years old and complains that vigina hurts after peeing. I thought it was a urinary tract infection and took her to the doctor today, but all the tests came back normal, she looked at it and it looked normal, no redness.
My daughter constantly feels like she needs to wipe herself moments after peeing, like she feels some is leaking out. So by doing this she is rubbing the area raw, so it hurts worse each time.
I tried putting a cream on it, but she said it burned, and it probably did as it is raw.
The doctor said everything was fine and maybe it was caused from her drinking carbanated drinks, but she doesn't drink them, at all. So I know it isn't that. What do I do? The doctor said to come back in two weeks and they would re do the urinary tests, but this can't go on like this anymore, one episode lasted for almost two hours tonight.
I want to get a second opnion. Does this sound like anything anyone has dealt with before? Thank you for your advice.

Do doctors only get paid for the work they do in their office? Or do they get money from pharmaceutical companies if they use their medicine? My assumption was they only get paid for office work.

I smoke about 10-15 cigarettes a day, I am sick of needing this s*hit, most of the time I don't even enjoy it. Any ideas for quitting, other that actually going and getting treatment with a professional (I'm a DIY kinda guy)? I am sure that would work, I guess it wouldn't even be a question of affording it or not, the prospect of spending the thousands I would spend on cigarettes if I did not quit kind of makes quitting a pretty logical decision financially as well.
Also, not much will power here, I have tried the whole 'as of tomorrow morning, I am a non-smoker' bussiness. Last time I tried that , it lasted me till lunchtime.

I continually have chest pain, rapid heart rate, numbness in hands and feet, headaches shortness of breath. My blood pressure usually runs 110/70, but in the past 3 months, it has been running 140/90 off and on and my heart rate at times is 120. I have had a stress test, blood work for everything, Echocardiogram, etc. Everything has been negative. Can this all just be anxiety or is it possible that it's heart related?
