You are the only person who can make yourself happy.
If your energy level is low, take good vitamins and iron, but have a routine check up with your doctor to make sure there's nothing else going on.
A minor thyroid problem or sugar problem can be so easily corrected (if it's there, of course!) and anything physical and correctable could be the source of your exhaustion.
Crankiness could simply be no excercise or fresh air, too much caffeine, alcohol, or late nights.
Write out what you like to do -or what you were happy doing before.
Pamper yourself.
Use the bedroom only for sleep - no T,V. watching in the bedroom. Look in the mirror and tell yourself you're pretty. After the hundred'th time, you will be.
Talk to your friends.
Go out and -hard as this might seem - as you walk along the street and see the miserable, sad faces of strangers, smile at them. Just try it. 9 out of 10 will smile back - and guess what? You've actually made their day!
Everything is circular.
Listen to peaceful music.
Listen to loud, swingy music.
Go under a railway bridge and when a train's coming, yell and howl!
Dance even when you're alone.
Daydream.
Think about changing your job.
Get a dog.
Get a canary that sings.
Take a weekend trip out of town.
Take a course at the 'Y' or somewhere on photography.
Keep a journal of your feelings and aspirations. Be honest.
Don't miss breakfast.
Look at the stars.
Feel the wind and rain on your face.
Remember, you are never alone, even if you think you are.

Hi I am 30. I manage stress by support from my hubby, relaxing by doing other things and taking my mind off it (i.e. cleaning, or playing a PS3 game) I also find singing very relaxing, obviously picking the song to go with my mood. I have also tried self-hypnosis which is helpful but time-consuming and I don't have a huge amount of time to spare. I have quite a stressful lifestyle, but I don't find it affects me too much.

I go for a walk. I live in a neighborhood where there are lots of forests and meadows...and I like taking long walks (or jogs, sometimes) to just calm down and think. Being outside near nature makes me calm and feel better. Also, the exercise makes me generally happier.

If you don't have immediate access to a forest or area like that, it would be worth you taking a drive to go someplace nice and filled with nature. It may absolutely sound dorky, but this really works for me.

Good luck!

Could be a hormonal imbalance. See a doctor for that. For a home remedy, vitamin supplements with iron, intentional exercise and put yourself of a strict routine for sleeping and eating. Ensure you sleep and rise at the same time every day.
Stay away from sugar and caffeine. You may have to read labels, but it's your health so it's worth it. More green vegatables also.
Basically a healthy diet, a healthy routine and exercise.
To your health!!!

Well the fact that you are aware that your stress level is very high is already an indicator that you can handle it. Thousands of people are not aware so they end up stressed out tot he point of breakdown. You yourself should learn to manage it. You will determine ways by which you can overcome it.

I tend to just take my daughter out to somewhere where it's safe and she can enjoy herself, like swimming down at the river if we decide to go camping. It's nice and quiet out there, and she doesn't have to rely on her senses so much. She's deaf, so she hates it when we go places that have a lot of noice and music that she'll never get a chance to hear.

I feel quite relaxed when I know that she doesn't have to worry about anything, and that helps me to relax as well.

In your case though, I'd recommend you go and get a good massage. Take a tai chi class or something. They can be a little stressful at first as you have to concentrate on your breathing, but after you get used to it, it's fine.

Just take time off and do the things that make you happy. Hang out with your friends, and go and do the whole girly thing of going down to the local spa. Hell, I have more female friends than male, and they dragged me with them one time as a joke. I think they were pretty surprised to find that the people at the spa knew me already. Backfired. Not only did I get to gloat about that, but I got a damn good massage while I was at it, and I managed to escape with my eyebrows unwaxed at their attempts to 'pay me back' for their joke not working.

for me it is working out=most of it will be cardio and weights as well as lots of running 4 days a week. other than that i would reccommed you to get some sleep, relax, enjoy life-just take a small walk, go out with your girlfriends shopping or windowshopping or just having a good time. that usually helps.best of luck!

Working out is wonderful for the mood because of the release of the "feel good hormones" (endorphins). I know that motivation may also be an issue but once working out you'll notice this will help with the feeling tired and the crankiness.
