Good question!
I'm a smoker and my Father-In-Law is an eye doctor. He recently gave me an article about smoking and the effect it has on eyes.
If it came from anyone else, I would find this gesture annoying! (You know how critical people can be about smoking) But he is not the least bit judgemental and only wants to keep those that he loves informed.
Yes, it definitely does cause damage. Have I stopped the nasty habit? No. But I have cut back...a LOT!

smoke of any kind can cause a bad effect on your eyes , Cigerette smoke is one of them ,
First of all why smoke , there r many thinks apart from smoking ..
yes cigerette smoke can effect your eyes!!

the smoke that goes up in the air blows up into your eyes. because the ash is hot as it goes up it burns the suface of your eye. u may blink more often than usual. my advice is stop, ur not just hurting your eyes!

yes persistent cig smoke wud damage ur eyes just like it wud do to heart, lungs.........
initial symptoms will b eye irritation, long lasting reddening and eventually it wud aggravate to blurring of vision!!
