has anybody ever had this plugged feeling in thier ear?

it always feels like its plugged with a heartbeat sound.. it's mostly at night..i was thinking maybe it was my blood pressure, but my blood pressure is fine..i just found out i have cholestrol i forgot to ask my doctor if it could be that .it just started and it's not everyday either....

I did at one time.. thought I was going deaf..but had ears washed out and found a large ball of wax had been up against the tympanic membrane.

I have had this feeling before. It is usually the sign of me getting an ear infection. Treat with ear drops and take acetominophen for pain.
