I had mine today, and it was really painless. I was given a free t shirt from the hospital and encouraged to tell everyone to get the shot. So, here it goes. Get your flu shot this winter. Because I take care of cancer pts and give chemotherapy on a routine basis, it was important enough for the head of infectious diseases at our hospital to single me out to go get it this morning. The shirt was a small award for doing it. Why dont you get your flu shot?

My immune system is shot to hell, so I got a Flu shot and Pneumonia on Saturday. I've been having a problem staying out of the hospital and within the past year or two I ended up having Pneumonia one month, then I Bronchitis the following month and the month after that I ended back in the hospital again with Pneumonia.

Yes I plan to get a flu shot this season. In fact I've been getting them since the 2009 Swine Flu Outbreak.

Yes. If I don't I get really sick with the flu. I have taken a flu shot for the last five years and it works for me.
Each person has to weigh the benefits vs the possible drawbacks.

My husband has to when you consider that he's in the protection tension. i'm going to in all probability get one if the backside health facility has adequate extra for relatives. I had the flu some years in the past and it develop into terrible.

Yeah, I have to cause I'm in the Army...get one everytime it comes around. Problem is I'm already sick, so I'm going to be sucking after I get it...blah.
