Congrats on making your positive life changes...I wish you all the best. The speed at which weed leaves your body depends both on the speed of your metabolism, as well as on the half life of marijuana's THC. The half-life of marijuana's THC can vary quite a bit, depending on when it’s used, who is using it, and other factors. It’s estimated that marijuana's THC can have a half life that ranges anywhere from 1-10 days. It’s almost impossible to find out what that half life is, which means that it is very difficult to use it to calculate how long it will take for all of the marijuana's THC to leave your system. Your metabolism and how much weed you smoked will also have an effect on the time period that it will take you before you can test without testing positive for weed use. After all, the half-life is only the length of time that it takes for you to lose half of the marijuana's THC that is in your system. If you’ve smoked a lot of weed, then it will take you longer before the marijuana's THC in your body drops back below the amount that is detectable by drug tests. For this reason, when you ask "How long does weed stay in your system?" you have to realize that it’s very unlikely that you’ll be able to get a definite answer. The most common period of time is anywhere from 3-30 days, depending on your metabolism and the amount of weed that you’ve smoked. This means that while most drug screens can only turn up evidence of other drugs if you’ve been taking the drug within a few days of the drug test, weed could still be detected in a urine test up to a month after the last time that you smoke - and even longer in hair follicles. That help?

Since it is a daily thing, it will take longer. Pot is stored in your body in a different way, for example, than pain pills. After you stop taking pills, usually a drug screen done 72 hrs. or roughly 3 days will come out clean. An everyday pot smoker, usually a drug screen will show clean after 30 days. If it were me, knowing the affects things like that can have on growing fetuses, I wouldn't attempt to get preggers until at least 2 mos. after I smoked my last one just to be sure. Good luck!

This depends on your body fat content, not how much you weigh. It will usually take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to leave your system but there will be some residual left over for awhile. Thank God you have the common sense to stop before you get pregnant, most don't. I work in the laboratory at the hospital and believe me- marijuana affects babies. People do not want to believe it but it does. Good Luck.

If you've been smokin' daily for 8 years. then DO NOT plan on getting pregnant soon. If you toke a doob a day for several weeks, the stuff clears your system in about a month. But 8 years?! Plan on getting pregnant in 6 months to a year. You don't want to take any chances.

will show up in your body for 30 days after smoking your last joint or partial joint. and that is with an accasional smoker.
You should wait abut 3 years after quitting to make sure there will be not addiction or harm to your child.
Smoking every day for 8 years will give the child addiction.
It very well could be that your child will grow up being addicted to any drugs easy due to your addiction.
Pot is no friend. and it is not safe. or people friendly

marijuana has a "half life" of 28 days. that means that it takes 28 days for your Bibby to metabolize HALF of theee chemical once you stop using it. So...you stopped in July...lets say July 4th....by august 4th only on half will be gone, by September 4th one half of that. and by October half again. You still have in your system about 1/8th of what was there in July.
