he has a slight fever but he is shaking and shivering really bad like he is cold. hes doing it very bad that he cant even talk. whats weird is he says hes not cold. should i take him to hospital?

the shaking and shivers are common with fever even if he doesn't feel cold however a fever means his body is fighting some type of infection in his body he should take tylenol every 4 hours and don't bundle up keep him cooled off make an appointment with the dr. and find out whats wrong with him not to worry unless his fever reaches 104 degrees farenheitt then take him to the ER good Luck

He may be detoxing. Does he do any drugs or recently stopped any? If the fever is under 104 then the ER wont see him for like 9 hours. If its a temperature over 100 give him a tylonol. If its under that, let his body fight if off.

Sounds like he should go to the doctor b/c fevers associated with cold chills and sweats are usually very high fevers. Fevers exceeding 106 can be fatal. He should go to the doctor.

I do not know where you live but here in India,it would be symptoms of a mosquito-borne disease such as malaria or dengue.

I'm not quite sure what the problem is but i am sure it's more than you can handle & i would advise you to get him to a dr. if he will go. try & find out if he took any drugs recently , if so detox would help you. if not then he definitely needs a dr. now , however you have to get him to go , please let us know what happens. god bless you both!!
