Valium, Halcion, ambien...I have tried them all for sleep and none seem to have any effect at all on me. I could understand if i had a tolerance but have only tried these individualy on a very limited basis. Is there any explanation for this. I mean come on 15 mg of valium does nothing?????

My legs feel like I have been running all night. They feel tight and cramped. I have had my legs scanned for DVT.(neg). I am 34yrs and have been dealing with this for 1 1/2yrs. A small knot appears above my ankle when I cross my legs. Drs dont have a clue. I have had a massage therapist tell me its fibers around my mucsles. Please help.
Thanks

I am an 20year old female. I have not eaten all day and went for a 4 mile walk with my friend that we do everyother day. This is the first time I had what felt like a "heavy chest" It was like I could not get a full breath. It started to hurt in my back as well, right where my lungs are. As the walk progressed it got worse and then one the last mile and a half I felt better.... not normal, just not as much pressure.... What could it be?

If I cover one nostril, I can breathe sufficiently. If I cover the other, then I have a very difficult time breathing.

The weirdest thing is that the blockage alternates nostrils. I don't think I have allergies, I tried nasonex but it doesn't help any more than without it. Should I get my adenoids removed? What other options? What gives???

i've always had terrible allergies (nose and throat), but after moving from a humid state (virginia) to the dry desert of california, they got worse and my nose got REALLY dry. i usually have postnasal, still do, but now i also have that full stuffy feeling you get with a sinus infection in my face and forehead, and sometimes popped ears, is it possible for me to have a sinus infection, or could these just be different allergies? i feel fine otherwise, and i know sinus infections usually cause pain dont they? it takes FOREVER to get an ENT appt here, so i figured i'd ask in the meantime!

I am allergic to perfume and I have previously moved my desk twice to avoid heavy scents. Recently a co-worker was moved next to me who insists on wearing perfume. I have been told my options are to live with it or to move again. I cannot find any open desks that are away from perfume but close to my current work group. Plus I don't want to move. I would like my boss to ask my co-worker to stop wearing perfume or to move her to a new cube. But I also don't want to be labeled a "problem", assuming that hasn't already happened.

I was pretty sick about a week ago and hadn't had water in probably a month before that. I noticed that I looked terrible after getting over my cold. It seemed as though I looked very tired. Is this normal? What can be done? How long will it take to get my regular appearance back if I drink a lot of water?
